This is just a general comment... not about this drama alone...

Stop using "it is cliche" as part of "flaw" when reviewing or commenting a drama. For me it s already a norm or rule after watching more than 20. People in Korea like it that way. It is safe to make it cliche. Like it or not he formula has work for decades, why change it.

There are a few that breaks the mold but deep down they all somehow follow the same pattern.

Sometimes have faith I will get good unbiased reviews/comments.. and read them. It gets boring to see the same "it is cliche" on review and comments section on every drama. Everyone is a writer, producer of director nowadays. If I choose to watch dramas because of what I read on some reviews or comments I wouldn't watch any of them cause it is always the same thing... over and over. Get over it already.

Masterpiece of a drama. Loved it. Great story. Interesting and significant characters that actually develop on the drama. Git it a try and ignore the rest.

Might try to see the original BBC series. I love UK shows.

This drama is loosely based on the movie. Don't expect it to go deep into the character or be similar to the movie. The movie covers way more of the character complexity in 2hrs than in the 16hrs that this drama takes. I totally recommend to watch the movie. Not because of the drama but because it is really good on its own.

With that said.....
I watched it for Lee Min Ki... love him lots. The cast was good. The story was predictable but good as well. Enjoyed all the smart, fierce and strong female leads.... very independent. I wanted to see more transformations. It was great until episode 13... the last episodes where like fillers or kind of fan service.. I guess. . Drama could have been shorter. Got tired of the "goodbye" song... it felt like they were about to break up every time the song came up...meh!

Awesome drama... reminded me of Misaeng in regards of the junior and senior relationships at work. That ending was awesome well the whole drama was. It was good to see Go Ah Ra and Sung Dong Il working together again. :D

I don't know how to feel about this drama. It was good but nothing that knocks me out. Lost interest a few times... could have been shorter like 12 eps. No need for a second season.

Exactly my thoughts. :) I didn't rate it a 10, but I wasn't disappointed like the majority in the comment sections…
Thanks. Glad someone read it. lol! I was just sad the drama is getting all this bad reviews and comments when it is really good. Reminded me of many mistakes I made in the past and like Joon Young I believe in love but I rather be alone... one big painful heartbreak is enough for me.

Joon Yeong I understand you.... Young Jae... I understand you.
I understood this drama therefore I loved it. I felt like I was Joon Yeong a lot of times.
Just because you l ove someone it doesn't mean you will always end up together with them.

This drama is very deep and complex. People are just too focused on the words romance, comedy and love. There was some comedy, there was romance and a lot of love here. People just don't realize it. They tried to antagonize YJ because of her issues and how she works them out. People cursed JY for not been strong enough to move on. But they all missed the whole theme...which is love and relationship and how they grow, change and make us who we are.

I'm already watching episode 13 and I'm enjoying this drama. To really love somebody is a learning process of knowing ourselves and those we have a relationship with. It takes commitment, hard work and hard decisions that are not always the best ones.

Not sure what people where expecting it to be... perhaps they where waiting for a traditional romcom and this is NOT that. There is romance and comedy but it is not your Kdrama fantasy romance. This goes way beyond the looking good characters with good jobs that kiss well and happily overcome every difficulty that life gives them. This goes deeper inside the characters and their insecurities when in love. It is emotionally draining... I felt the sincerity of the characters and so far I love the drama.

Seriously 7.1? This drama wasn't that bad. In fact I find this genuinely refreshing and an eye opener at some…
totally agree... I think it is very misunderstood.

Loved it. Super funny. Kids are annoying and adorable. The romance wasn't forced or over the top just simple people healing and giving love a chance perhaps. Enjoyed KIS way too much, their network is the best and every community should be that united.. "It takes a village to raise a kid" Yes it does. Very light and funny just what I needed.

SO JI SUB.... is awesome as always. He is so flexible now with his characters. He is like on the laid back let me chill and have fun... while also doing action scenes. I do miss him on his more melodramatic roles but I'll watch anything he does.

Not for people looking for fluffy overly done and acted romance. This would be a romance more for the grown ups...…
The whole main cast did AWESOME!

Nam Woo was more normal... he hold on to his past but still studied and worked hard. Was more mature in that aspect. Dae Bang and Joo Yong where excellent couple of mentor and disciple.. Their bromance was adorable. They both learned so much from each other it was nice. Not everything is what it seems to be... look deeper. The whole drama should have stayed with the main cast and the radiology guys. Those two brought more life experience and growth to the drama.

The two female interns... meh...fillers. they were like props on the set.... only that.

Now my Min Ho rant.... cause I could never ship Min Ho with Bo Young
Min Ho didn't add too much to the story. He is extra annoying and selfish. Way to childish compared to the rest of the characters. This is not a high school drama.

Min Ho was "cute" when in college. Yes, he was her first love... (he rejected her... cool he had all his right) Either way he wasn't good to her anyways in college. He used her at times. She is left heartbroken and embarrassed for many reasons... and moves on. Then a few years later he is given the opportunity to make amends with her be good stay as friends (nice... yey? ) Now he really falls in love with her... but then blows that up by embarrassing her every time he can cause she doesn't love him back... no dude you are done and over... bye! That's is no way to demand to be loved back. This isn't romantic or cute at all.

I guess they just needed to have the love triangle but it wasn't really necessary. Dr. Ye really didn't had an adversary... if you ask me. Dr, Woo was over Min Ho long time ago. She clearly wanted him as a friend.... she grew up and needed a man not a child.

Not for people looking for fluffy overly done and acted romance.

This would be a romance more for the grown ups... there is no race in hooking them up and getting them engaged fast. There is no need for that in this drama. Relationships take time and LOTS of efforts. This is what this drama is about.

If you go deep into each characters stories you will enjoy it. The poems are just a window for us to see the real emotions that the characters hide behind the comedy they bring. They all seem bubbly and funny all the time but they do have their own hardship. They're all hardworking adults surviving their daily life, jobs and family. Soundtrack is GREAT as well.

Don't get me started on Min Ho.... BLAH!... I wrote a rant below on the replies section of this comment LOL! ... spoilers ahead.

boring person? jeez, so i guess people have to act childishly and immature like minho so they won't be boring?…
Thank you. Min Ho for me wasn't even needed on the drama... Dr. Ye is a mature man which is what Dr. Woo needs. Min Ho had his chance and wasted it. He was a spoiled brat that didn't even care about his career. Then get to comeback only to make it worst so he doesn't deserve a second chance at love with her at least. At least I hope he actually learned the huge lesson #YeLine thought him.

This drama was weird and extremely cold. I wouldn't recommend it cause I got lost on the whole dramatic story. I watched but I could have easily missed a lot of episodes and it wouldn't made a change to the story... therefore, it could have been shorter... like 10 episodes. There was no climax nothing intriguing until the very end. It takes a lot of twists and turns in every episode... normally that is good but here it didn't work as well for me. I hardly ever leave negative comments of dramas but this one takes the cake. It is not awfully bad (i've seen much worst) but it didn't feel right for me.

Lmao is it really that bad ?
Give it a try... people are impatient. It is not an award winning drama but the story and overall message is good. Broken hearts that heal is always a good plot.
