I'm three episodes in: ost is lovely, all the female characters except the one who co-founded the business are beyond annoying, and the show already feels draggy because of lack of editing. I'm certain this show could have been cut down by 10+ episodes and offered a stronger, more palatable experience. I'm probably going to DNF this one.
Saw him on sound of your heart. Such a shame. He got a disgustingly low sentencing for his actions, SK needs to…
That is the absolute truth. This man is a sexual predator and he got a decreased sentence by writing a mournful letter?! The BS is unconscionable and really shameful. Time for a major rehauling of their sex abuse laws and penalties.
I felt a lump on my throat reading the description. Then I saw Jasper is lead character. His acting is very effective to me. I'm not even going to try and watch this. I feel my heartbreaking too much already.
sigh. I dislike the teacher-student love trope. thnlanks for this synopsis
I agree! Age appropriate consent is sexy. Adult-minor relationship troupe is Not. That it's so popular is very uncomfortable. And I don't care that we're talking about fictional shows.
I am sad. This isn't available on any platform I have access to from Washington DC. I wish somebody could upload it to YouTube or iQiyi or Viki get streaming rights. Maybe one day.
I'm on episode 3 right now and what I'm seeing, so far, are actors who are ok and working hard to make a bad script and mediocre directing work. The script is repetitive. The conflict, up to this point, is a bit lame. So his best friend turned out to not have the same feelings as him and he cuts him off and stays angry for three years? Maybe something else is contributing to that anger that hasn't been revealed yet. I hope. If not, that's just really bad writing. I'm going to keep watching and see if it gets better.
I'd really like to see more of him onscreen. So far his work has been strong but too similar characters. I want to see how talented he is and that needs more diversity in his characters. I hope he's looking to expand his acting career and I hope he's got a team behind him who will invest in him should he want that.
He is absolutely gorgeous. I looked him up hoping to see that he's starred in a lot of shows but alas, not yet. I hope his work in love class 2 gains him some attention and offers!
I had to stop watching this one. I'm a mental health counselor and I just couldn't suspend my disbelief this far. A psychiatrist getting romantically involved with their patient is gross and extremely unethical. That the patient was actively mentally ill with a condition that is directly related to attachment issues made it even worse. It literally made my stomach queasy. Maybe the story ends up going in a different direction than where it was going when I stopped watching but I just couldn't make it through to find out.
The amount of potential being lost due to China's insane anti-gay censorship is crazy and utterly Tired. I wish there was an opportunity for all filmmakers interested in doing BL or GL or anything queer related to do it in Taiwan or with a film house in Thailand. I'm at a point where I don't want to watch another half suggestive bromance begging the audience to pretend otherwise. It's not the same thing and it's disrespectful to BL and other queer works to act like it is.
I just watched him in Sotus and now I'm watching I'm Tee, Me Too. I didn't recognize him! He looks so different! He was cute in Sotus but, only imo, he's had a quite a glow up in those four years. He's so handsome.
Yeah, teenagers having sex must be some crazy Asian thing, can’t imagine it happening in the west.
There was zero reason to come with this level of shade. The commenter made it clear they were only talking about their preference and not judging anybody elses.
How are there clips of this show but no full cast listed? Is this just concept right now waiting to be green lit? I like Cheewin's directorial work a lot so I'm strongly hoping that this'll be good even though he's producing instead of directing.
