Only on ep 4 so I'm not reviewing it yet. I just came to ask - did anyone else feel like they're doing a bad job with the makeup? Foundation colors are off. The actors look pasty or sick at times. Yun Qi's foundation looks like they're trying to lighten his skin but it just makes him look like he's a fresh corpse. Imo, of course.
What is going on with his career?Nothing after History seems to be releasing abroad. I hope they're doing well in Taiwan. Would love to see more of his work because he's really good.
I'm mid-way through EP 1 and if it wasn't for my utter love with HP, I would stop watching. Every main character…
Finished! And like others said, it got better each episode. I really enjoyed it! Character development was really well done. I found them to be so lackluster in the first few episodes. But they and the assemble cohesion came together well and I was able to bond with the show. Even Oi Young became more palatable. This type of personality for lead is just not one of my favorites but it all worked out well. I'd love if they made a sequel.

Ok, I'm on ep 4 now and it's getting better. I'm still warming up to most of the characters but I like the story. The character who has not gotten better, imo, is our lead - Oi Young. I am sure she'll have a definitive turn around, but so far I find her disinterest in her work unless pressed due to an emergency to be egregious and incredulous. If she were a strong or brilliant resident doctor despite herself, it would offer some counterbalance but she's not. Her I'm sorry's have gotten on my last nerve. How do you keep saying sorry because you didn't read the patient's chart as lead doctor? Also, I feel like I need to go back to ep 1 to be sure, but didn't she previously make it to 4th year residency? Why does it seem as though she knows nothing? I'm assuming that will be answered in a future episode but I'm very curious.
In any case, that turned into a rant but my actual point is that I'm still watching and enjoying myself a lot more than a few eps ago.
I'm mid-way through EP 1 and if it wasn't for my utter love with HP, I would stop watching. Every main character (except Do Won) lacks charm or warmth of any kind. The vibe of the show also lacks charm or warmth. This near flatness feels unlike any other medical k-drama I've watched so far so I'm surprised.
Does it get better? Warmer, more charm, better relational connection between characters, depth?
I'm on ep 4 and, though it's quite corny, I'm enjoying it. But I must say - whoever decided on the wardrobe for Bank must have also decided on the look of the jewelry - it's awful. Just about every outfit he's worn so far has been ill-fit or atrocious. And I feel the same about every piece of jewelry they've showcased so far as well. Outdated at best. Atrocious at worst.
I am watching Doctor John. Wow! This man is the embodiment of sexy. Some scenes he's breathtaking. Though he's gorgeous, it's not just that. It's his presence, his vibe something. Quite captivating, I must say.
Is his acting that bad? Or was it just your way of complimenting his convincing acting, even without watching…
The latter. I love his screen presence and I think he's a very talented actor. That's why I know I just don't have the emotional strength to watch this right now. I hope you go for it though! Don't let our fears stop you from enjoying yourself.
Something's not right about making BaU so incredibly hostile and unlikeable in an 8 ep show. By the time his redemption comes, I'm going to be wishing jihun would say too little too late.
"Flat chested, skinny bodies ...little squinty eyes" - your comment sounds ignorant and crass. Many woman are…
Really? That's your take? This actress has an extensive list of shows. She's in the profession. She's getting steady work. So clearly something about her physique and looks is working. What's ridiculous is assuming just because you have a preference and it's not her physique and looks means anything beyond your own subjective tastes. Now how about we try critiquing her acting skills - something she can control.
Santa is such a cute guy and has really good acting skills. Whoever at GMMTV in incharge of his make up is doing…
I thought he was uniquely beautiful before the nose job and, possible, eye lid surgery. The changes just make him look like any other actor. But beauty is extremely subjective so nobody's opinion about his face matters but his.
I'm on episode 3 and I'm very surprised to be struggling this hard to get into the show. Why does Book's face look like plastic and why is his acting so annoying and cheesy?? After watching him in Only Friends (loved it), I know that he's got decent talent. Where is it?. Is it a director issue? Because he's proven he is a better actor than it's showing at this point. All the fingers and toes crossed that'll get better because I have been looking forward to watching this show.
I finished it because Yjomas is pretty. That’s really it. I wasn’t a huge fan of Kong’s character or his…
I'm on ep 3 and starting to think the same. I usually enjoy these corny Thai BL school boys shows but this one feels too bubblegum. It may be the Teerak character - he annoys me 80% of the time. But it's only ep 3 so maybe there's hope?
EP. 7 - Direction seems a bit on the weak side. I looked up the director's previous works and they don't sound interesting and ratings are pretty mediocre (for MDL which can't be trusted I know). The screenwriter has, I think, one credit under her name. Who picked this team, I wonder? How did they get this production?
I'm on ep. 6. Enjoying this just fine. But I'm at that part where she decided to take a different route because it's faster and asks NO QUESTIONS of the SOLDIERS about the safety of it when this country is under constant bomb threats. She's almost lost her life or seen others lose theirs how many times now? I'm baffled by her stupidity. And that's a fail on the screenwriter and director's part.
I'm on ep 5, and I'm wondering why ML is pining over FL so hard. Half the time she is so dismissive over what they had that it feels like a teacher condescending to her student who's got a crush on her. Sadly, it highlights Too much the 14 year age gap between the actors which I'm not sure is supposed to be that large in the show. It's disconcerting to experience the ML being so passionately in love and so miserable over their current state and the FL being just short of meh about them half the time. I'm hoping FL eventually rising to the occasion consistently and turns this into an actual romantic show.
