I'm on ep. 6. Enjoying this just fine. But I'm at that part where she decided to take a different route because it's faster and asks NO QUESTIONS of the SOLDIERS about the safety of it when this country is under constant bomb threats. She's almost lost her life or seen others lose theirs how many times now? I'm baffled by her stupidity. And that's a fail on the screenwriter and director's part.
I'm on ep 5, and I'm wondering why ML is pining over FL so hard. Half the time she is so dismissive over what they had that it feels like a teacher condescending to her student who's got a crush on her. Sadly, it highlights Too much the 14 year age gap between the actors which I'm not sure is supposed to be that large in the show. It's disconcerting to experience the ML being so passionately in love and so miserable over their current state and the FL being just short of meh about them half the time. I'm hoping FL eventually rising to the occasion consistently and turns this into an actual romantic show.
He's sooo good. He's got great screen presence and such great chemistry with his on screen partners in the two shows I've seen him in - Secret Crush on You and Knock, Knock Boys. I was strongly irritated with his character in SCOY but still appreciated his acting skills. I'd love to see him in more roles. Many of the ones he's been in don't have interesting premises but I still may check them out just to see his performance.
I love this actress! Such a strong, rich presence and incredible performance in everything I've seen her in. I'm watching Doona right now. She's only in it for one episode but her opening line alone blew it outta the water! She's just sooo darn good at her craft!
I loved this show! It wasn't even on my to watch list. I actually can't remember how I landed on it but I'm so glad I did. I love angsty adult romances and this has all the angst. Combined with the beautiful chemistry between the two leads was spectacular. Really enjoyed watching from EP 1. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this. I love surprises like this!
Why oh why do most Chinese FL actresses talk and look like little girls, barely opening their mouths to speak,…
"Flat chested, skinny bodies ...little squinty eyes" - your comment sounds ignorant and crass. Many woman are petite with small breasts. The human body comes in all sizes/shapes and guess what, so do preferences. To attack this actress on her physique, something she was born with, and not perhaps her acting, something she can control, is actually "ridiculous".
This was the weirdest, most explicit film about grief I've ever seen. I'm almost half ashamed that I watched it. Made me feel like a horrified prude clutching my pearls! Lmao.
Ru Yi is one of the most bad ass characters I've ever seen! Everything she does (so far since I'm only on ep 20) is just so satisfying! So we'll written and we'll acted. Whoever wrote this character is brilliant.
He looks so much older than he is. I thought he was like 30 when I watched school 2021 and was one of the student's older brother. Until I saw that he was actually a student and looked him up. I was flabbergasted. He was probably 20-21 when they filmed it.
I'm on ep. 4 and enjoying it. But I'm disconcerted by the fact that the whole cast has only been together in the house one part of an episode. I guess I'm used to reality show cast members dedicating full time to the length of filming for the show. I've never seen a show with this many cast members out so frequently. Will there be enough time to bond if these absences continue?
I'm on ep. 3 and the whole vibe I'm getting is awkward lol. Everybody except maybe Youngjoon acts like they've never had a conversation with a new person before. And most of them are extroverts according to their mbti! It's interesting and I'm enjoying myself. But that really stands out for me. Also, I know the production likes to try new things but how they handled the first date was not a win in my book. That just feels like they don't respect the natural process of bonding that makes these dates necessary and that feels different from the first two seasons.
