Am enjoyng this drama, so far so good indeed. It is a good place to go after The Legend of Shen Li.
I’m starting after Shen Li as well. I don’t usually watch historicals, but I’ll give this a try. I’ve seen so many comments that there’s a strong female lead.
I'm on ep 36 and already saw the spoilers. I so want to skip to the last two eps. Not because these other eps are boring but just because I want to see the scenes in the last two eps.
Lets have him cook AND talk while he does it - then it'll be TRUE ASMR.
I saw a few TikToks of him cooking and talking a bit in real life. His voice is similar to the voice actor. It only had vietnamese subtitles, so I don’t know what he was saying
guys, I need an honest opinion. Is this really good? I mean story wise.Or is this getting hyped because the leads…
I knew nothing about the leads or hype going into this and I absolutely love this show. It has mature characters, realistic romance, great action and solid storytelling
Have you watched Good Morning Call? He’s the lead in that and he was very young then (2017). It was my first jdrama and I loved it so much. I don’t know if I’d like it now, but I’m considering rewatching.
Wait...i don't get why Takashi-san's own mother given him up for adoption part. Maybe the subtitle is going too…
I could have misunderstood, but what I got was that she found out that Takashi was going to run away with a boy and I assume this is a major no in her book. Like Takashi being gay would tarnish the family name.
Rewatch Princess Agents, of course! I mean, that's how I'll be coping
I read some of the reviews and comments for Princess Agents and your reply is along the same line. The number of episodes is daunting, but maybe I can do it if I think of just watching the 1st half
I don’t usually rewatch costume dramas, especially over 24 episodes, but I can see myself rewatching this if it continues to be as good as it has been so far. I’m so happy I started watching this even though I knew nothing about it ahead of time and was not familiar with the leads. I really question my viewing habits now because how could I have missed watching such fine actors?
I’m only on ep 15. I get butterflies whenever the leads are very close together and they’re not even romantic scenes. You can really see how they’re attracted to each other yet fighting the attraction and I’m loving it all.
LGX and ZLY are top tier!!👌 There's something to be said about seasoned actors who have such charisma and magnetism.…
I’m so impressed by both of them. Someone on here was surprised that I’ve never seen LGX in anything, but I also haven’t seen ZLY. They both have amazing presence and there’s a gravity to their acting. I guess that’s their maturity and experience. I’m going to watch their other shows after I’m done this one. I’m only on ep 9 because I don’t have a very good attention span and this show is too good to just play in the background like the way I watch most dramas.
