Liu Yuning has played a villain 2x, a prisoner, and a red flag.. he doesn't come to act just to look pretty and to gain more fans, if he does then he wouldn't dare to take those kind of roles even when he just started his acting career.
I think he often gets offered to play a cold character bcs even though he looks cold, his acting isn't stiff and not textbook-like (iykwim). He has played cold characters before so im surprised in this drama he played a more playful one with a heroic aura, not just cold and ruthless like his prev roles.

Yeah, im glad that their relationship is proved not easily broken by mere jealousy, misunderstanding, or another issue. They also grow individually and emotionally through this relationship.

Another thing that i enjoy a lot from this drama is the fighting scene. They don't make the fights look more like 'dancing'.. you can still feel the urgency, crisis, and power they excert during the fight. A little dancing is fine but if its too much like dancing i won't be able to take it seriously if someone got beaten and dying😂

RRY the best assassin indeed while NYZ distracted LTG with the bomb! Even on the verge of dying these 2 still stick on priority😂

This drama has the best dialogues between FL and ML🙌🙌 it's not overly done but can make you think and sympathize with their character. And once again 👏👏 to the soulful performance by the actors in this ep, esp RRY, NYZ and YY!!!

I feel bad for RRY bcs her disciple turns out having dirty fantasies about her, and while she's disgusted she still had to confront him that way in front of other ppl :( But LTG seems still obsessed to her and now that he helped to heal NYZ, im afraid he wants NYZ to pay back by giving RRY to him......... Unless there will be character growth for LTG. But there's a spoiler through reuters of LTG and RRY's wedding, if it happens in the later ep then this obsession arc would still go along the way...🥲

They weren't joking when they promote it as guzhuang road drama... We got a map and interesting stories of each character in every stop area😂

now when she's disagree with something, like when she confessed to NYZ about the things that she enjoys in life and her future plan, which only came up on her mind after meeting NYZ and the squad. He must be feeling bittersweet bcs he did say he want to help her realize that the world isn't only about killing and make babies, but the consequence is their relationship might not go well since he knows now that Ruyi and him are having different direction in mind.

I hope Chen Haoyu's character (Chu Yue) won't be so annoying in the later part bcs honestly i like the actress. First time saw her in Novoland Eagle Flag where she played a gentle, mature and reliable princess. This is also her comeback guzhuang drama since NEF and im happy to see her again, so i hope her character design/ development here is good or interesting enough to follow.

Yeah, i also can't see a happy ending either for the lead CP or the squad... So I'd rather not have high expectation... I can understand their preferences bcs honestly its also relatable to couples in modern life...

I wonder if the different views between RRY and NYZ that we got in latest ep referring to the original Chinese title >> 一念关山/ One Thought of Fortresses and Mountains. Fortresses = RRY bcs she wants to live the rest of her life to fight; Mountains = NYZ bcs he wants to live in seclusion aftr his mission is over. Then the English title refers to their journey in looking for the answer bcs their relationship wouldn't be able to develop without solving this thing.

About LTG, for now i don't like but also don't hate him, i think RRY will still treat him as her student but this time, she's gonna teach him how to be more humane🤔 So far the relationship of RRY and NYZ is so mature and they alwys have the best way to communicate with each other, so i don't believe if the scriptwriter will just ruin it just bcs of a deranged character and jealousy.

Agree... as they're getting closer to An they know the dangers are coming, so they seem to give each other strength through their love to each other. I love how NYZ teaches RRY meaningful and good things along the way.
