Agree, LSS has alwys been my fav when it comes to dance scenes, her dance is alwys so mesmerizing and graceful. Though i also found a new gem recently and that's Wang Yiting, a newcomer actress in Legend of Anle. I can never take my eyes off of their dance or fight scenes.

I totally had the same thought with you. Because in prev eps, this Deng Hui got promoted to SG's commander by Andi, means he had showed a huge loyalty until Andi trusts him with that job. And remember DH actually hates SG bcs they killed one of his family member. But his attitude changed here🤔 he didn't tell about Ren Xin to Andi and he actually feel bad for punishing his subordinates even tried to save them?? I rly didn't see that coming from his character.

Wasn't it mentioned that Scarlet Guards failed their duties so they got punished? After all the organization was created to serve the emperor, but they failed to detect the danger that has been lurking around among the royal family, even got the prince killed like that. The emperor has been mentally unstable too it seems bcs of that gold taels, plus now he gets mad over his dead son, and from RRY's past story we knew this emperor isn't someone who likes to hear excuses, so i wasn't surprised to see him punishing Scarlet Guards this time.

And that's all linked to RRY's helplessness and sudden indecisiveness bcs she wants to make the emperor suffer for the dead empress, fulfilling her and NYZ's promise to LTG (get rid of the princes and make him level up in rank) so LTG can help them rescue emperor Wu and left the capital asap; but on the other hand their plans directly implicate the Scarlet Guards and she can't do anything FOR NOW to save them. Its like finally she realized she can't alwys save other ppl just by killing the enemies.

I think the problem in this ep is the messy cuts, i also found the princes part a bit confusing and hope we get better quality and storytelling in later eps. But today we got reminded again that RRY is a ruthless assassin, what makes an assassin ruthless is they kill ppl in silence, they can accomplish their mission even without accelerating fight scenes.
