Bcs he's only 2ML with only 40mins appearance in 10 eps so far😂 after being shelved for almost 3years, they dropped it out of nowhere with 0 preheating/ promotion, no proper cast introduction and trailer until premiere day.. many ppl didn't know when did they film this🤣 Can't really rely on the 1ML/ 3ML and their fans too to hype it bcs they're probably trying to be lowkey due to negative exposure they had in the past. It's already good enough they can release this now...

anw, the head index on iqiyi broke 5000 but on tencent broke 20000, i think even without big hype this drama alread has its own loyal audiences😊

The official magazine account that posted the interview deleted that interview and will post the full version later, bcs they saw so many ppl took the scriptwriter's words out of context. Also the scriptwriters who reposted the interview and voicing the rights of scriptwriter deleted their reposts bcs they found out that interview was used to bully an actor (LYN).

LYN himself have long accepted that opinion. Whats make fans more frustrated is how they also call him animals.. like snake, rat, anything that label him as very low creature... plus slandering him using capital to change script and get more screentime.. and these ppl also scolding his fans for saying he's good looking, as if we're stupid and blind.

RRY and NYZ are indeed powerful inside and outside drama😂 they often topped character popularity rangkings together. Other support characters often entered top 10 too, at least 5 characters were on the list evryday... its a very successful group drama I'd say.

His modern drama (蝉女) where he's the ML might air next year.. also costume dramas Heroes and Zichuan, but he's 2ML in those dramas.

He definitely has so much backstory, how could someone from aristocrat family ended up being an assassin in very young age? Well, ppl alr slandering him on wb for stealing screentime/ limelight etc.. now if there's more backstory about him they would rly scold him to death haha

Smtms, having a character with no growth is nice too, he's there as the most stable pillar and to help other characters to grow. I think that's the purpose of his character.

Mybe you can't sympathize with him, but there are many ppl who can and their sympathy might not relying on his backstory. His present self and sacrifice for the future probs what made this character gains many love.

thats why its weird that Cnetz saying the drama favours the ML, he didn't even have specific character development or any flashback scenes to his childhood or past story... Good thing is LYN played the role with enough balance, he's green flag through and through with the best emotional stability but still shows the cunning side. He's compassionate to the ppl but didn't even try to hide his hatred when facing the crown/ emperor.
Also, didn't he decide to k*ll himself after knowing that RRY was burnt to death? While we can't say it's his flaw, that's definitely the time when we finally see him had a breakdown.
