YY has become my fav character, she has the best character development among the 3 FLs, and despite her little viciousness i can feel a positive vibes from her character. Im rooting for her and Mr. Liu too. Her line of work is also very new to me, this is the first time i learn about it so im more invested to her story.

As for the main couple, i believe HH is aware that she's also attracted to JJH? she refused him by saying "this shouldn't have happened", and "im not qualified to accept your love", it seems though like she's not only stoically telling JJH, but also herself. She also kept averting her eyes from him, like doesn't want him to read what's in her mind. For someone very matured, well-cultured, and smart like HH, it must be hard to admit that you love someone when you are still a married woman. And i can understand why she wants to make a distance with him bcs she's afraid of gossip. After all, both of them work as public figure, their relationship wouldn't work smoothly before she can divorce her husband..
But see, even with her stoic refusal, JJH hasn't given up yet😂😂

yes i saw that rumour too, they might rly go to that route. i like how kind HY is and his sincerity when it comes to friendship and love, but i wish he can be smarter and stronger crown prince after all of the things happened in his family and the court, not only being too kind and ends up regretting evrything at the end. so when he killed the counsellor i was disappointed but also can't totally blame him. but im more disappointed bcs they made this character design for him😂

Saw the trailer of the later ep... so it seems like LMX will get death sentence from HY bcs he chose to act for personal matters (protecting DZY that caused AN and her troops died). But i have mixed feeling about this bcs didn't HY also do the same thing?

Remember that LMX gave a valuable tip to HY about the left counsellor, asking HY to carefully investigate his connection to the Northern Qin. While I'm glad we finally see a new side of HY, but his abrupt action of killing the counsellor publicly in the broad of light was a very very reckless thing to do! And he did it for personal reason (protecting WS), so why does HY blame LMX when he chose to act based on his personal reason too? we all knew DZY has alwys been LMX's first priority, he can even sacrifice his life to her. And for him, protecting her means protecting the Di family and the country too.

If HY had a clear mind, he should have made a strategy to capture the counsellor quietly, interrogate/ even torture him to find out where he kept WS, and to get more information about Northern Qin. He is supposed to be smart, but he couldn't see the outcomes of his action. Everyone seems to ignore that this abrupt action of HY ended up igniting Northern Qin ppl to launch the uprising in Northwest Border ahead of time, bcs they thought HY killed the counsellor after finding out he's a spy (and actually has high-rank too in the Northern Qin) and information about them is alr leaked. If HY acted more carefully, he and LMX might even have more time to find out about Leng Bei's identity before AN went back to the border.

So my point is.. HY and LMX are just the same. That no matter how smart and capable they are, they will smtms ignore other things for the same personal reason, which is to protect someone they love.

Mingxi is imprisoned, Linlang is also "imprisoned" in that pleasure house bcs she can do nothing to save him. One is physically tortured, one is emotionally tortured. Still, these 2 have to stick to the mission. Probably while waiting until his master back, Linlang still has to do all the behind works as she's his right-hand.

oh no i jst rmmber that the FL and her brother are twinsss, that's why the casts look like they're in the same age xD

The scene where LMX playing mind tricks and pressing Anning though, very well-acted!!! i can feel the flood of emotions between the two! Wondering if Anning will be like Grand Princess Liyang in NIF, being the one key person who unfold the truth. I don't even mind about the romance anymore, i jst want to see how they finish the revenge.

Didn't expect that i would enjoy this so far😂😂 the screenwriting is nice, hopefully they won't drag so much, and won't add unnecessary villain bcs i feel like this is a story about the 4 leads going through the change of times both in their private life and workplace, how they accept the changes that happen around them, adapt, and move on. I started watching bcs of LYN but am engaged with every ep about the broadcasting station!!

Anw, LYN here is such a delight to see, when I'm depressed about Luo Mingxi, i go to see Jiang Junhao for some laughs🤣

This kind of drama wouldn't get the crazy hype as it is not an idol drama, but so far the reception and reviews among general public in China is good, esp about the acting, production, and dialogues among characters ✨✨

I'm afraid the Empress Dowager would do smth to Anning (though she's her granddaughter) to get rid of her bcs she knew the big secret behind the Di family massacre........

but in some eps that have release, luo mingxi only has 2-3mins screentime😂😂

yesss with Liu Tao, omg i jst realized she's Nihuang in NIF. Saw ppl saying LMX is like Mei Changsu, and in other drama tht is currently airing too LYN plays the ML of Liu Tao😂 though she's 12yrs older than him, but so far Cnetz buying this pairing bcs of their great chemistry!!! It's a workplace/ family/ comedy/ romance drama, i recommend if you like those genre. LYN character is a funny and sunny boy but still has mature temperament, very different from LMX.

can't count how many times they shot LMX's hands, thought it's simply bcs his hands are beautiful but gradually i can see his state of feeling through his hands' movement😬 like when he's anxious, calm, restraint, thinking, etc... i love this character detail

yeahh, and it's lucky for them if they could find one who can build great chemistry

No she got married when she was 14, she turned 16 when she met her brother again after married to ML

more or less, yes. probably he jst doesn't want to be burdened with the fact that HY seeing him as a friend (the trusted one at that), bcs he knows he will never return that feeling. At least LMX admitted HY is an upright/ kind person in early ep and has to side with Anle, and in LMX's thought HY isn't the one who has to eat the "bitter fruit."

No, this time the ML and FL are both having miserable life. The husband of FL ran away after borrowing money from ML and several ppl, leaving FL and their child alone to face all the debt collectors. The ML keeps chasing her in the hope to meet her husband, insist for his money back bcs if not he will lose his restaurant. The FL is smart though bcs she knows she's not the one who signed the IOU so she's not responsible of the debts, but she's kind enough not to run away from them until his husband comes back

ML was born in 1991, not sure about the FL.
In real life though, LYN is alr 33, and LT is 45....

The thing is.... both POB and The Truth are produced by Tencent, so their fans were guessing if they got casted after the production team saw them on The Truth together😂
i also like them individually before, it was rly a surprise when they're announced as the leads.

im watching his drama Be Your Own Light now and he said its his first drama where he has kiss scene lol and i rmmber he said he's thankful to the FL (Liu Tao) who guided him when doing the romantic scene lol
i guess real life experience and doing it in front of camera are different thing🤣 but yes he must've learnt from his previous dramas before POB, considering his closeness with Zuer, i believe they can act out those scenes (if there is one) naturally.
