Did all the rumoured MLs that reject it ever elaborate that they don't want to work with ZLS and their fanaccs give out various reasons about it through public statement? While they might not worthy to be her co-star in the fans' eyes, be it in visual, age, skills, and status in the industry, it's not necessary to bring them down like that i think. For example after their rejection, another rumours came out about the latest rumoured ML that he is a problematic actor; he took other actor's supposed ML role; her fans' fear of the script will be changed for ML (this was from her big-fans acc's public statement on their rejection) making ppl think that he has the power to change script? his C-fandom didn't even react about the casting rumour bcs its still a rumour after all, but the drama suddenly trended with the topic about him being rejected by her fans for the whole day. Very obvious disrespect, thanks to her C-fandom's good deeds. I know they jst tried to protect ZLS, but while they scold the production team for being un-credible they also gave out various reasons why this rumoured ML isn't acceptable.

No official news about the casting or whatsoever about this drama actually, except the released poster even though they have done booting ceremony and been filming for a month already, which we only found out through the reuters😂 I think they're going to promote it in different way, so now we can jst wait peacefully for the surprise when the drama is out.

The director worked for Magnolia Awards' nominee and winner "Three-Body" (one of my best 2023 Cdramas). A bit surprised to see that he's directing a manhua-based romance story, but when i read the manhua i found it unique and has a bit of suspense. So by looking at the manhua genre and his prev works, i think this is not going to be a simple romance drama.

Yes, PYC played Lu Xia/ Echizen Ryoma in Netflix's Prince of Tennis, another successful adaptation of him. His character there is soo different, more mysterious and cool than the shameless Chulan🤣🤣

With Three-Body and Mysterious Lotus Casebook, this drama entered my top 3 Cdrama of 2023✨ At the start, the expection was low bcs there were news that this drama lacks investor thats why it took long enough for the production. But im glad they didn't give up bcs the casts rly did great for their roles. My fav charas here are Feng Baobao, Chulan, Wang Ye, Lv Liang, and Elder Lu🤣 While there are so many questions left after the drama ends, im still satisfied with the overall drama and honestly they wrapped it up nicely. I love all the laughs, sad, and fighting moments. Hopefully there is S2, or mybe special movie with these casts, it was joyful watching them together🙏

Ever since this drama started filming, there were many unlucky things happen around the crew. LYN, SZE, even the director got attacks, making them look like problematic ppl, which then decreasing the anticipation of the drama and finally prevent it from being aired.

1. He is a popular singer and alr has many loyal fans
2. His drama list is short but for someone who has only been a drama actor for nearly 5yrs, filming 2-3 dramas a year while also actively singing everywhere, it's considered a lot, i guess?
3. Most characters that he played are memorable to audiences. I should mention Hei Yanjing in UN, Haodu in TLB, and Bai Choufei the craziest villain in Heroes who made many ppl hate but also love him. Many C-drama lovers found him through these characters, some didn't even know that he's a singer, specifically THAT OSTs singer xD
4. His serious attitude and love toward acting are showed through his improvements, which is very noticeable to audiences. He's able to do action scenes, he dares to take villain roles or funny characters, he can build chemistry very well with his co-stars (romantically/ non-romantically), he dubs all the characters he plays (except his first 2 dramas), and he sings OSTs for his own dramas and other ppl's dramas.
5. Now after playing some memorable support roles, ppl have positive feeling about him as an actor and are looking forward to his 1ML era more.
6. Note that he doesn't have formal education in acting/ performance art, he has acting teacher though since UN era. After TLB, he got offers to play 1ML but he kept refusing bcs he insisted to learn more through playing support roles. Personally, i like and respect him for being aware of his own ability and capacity as a newcomer in acting and wasn't in rush to be the 1ML.
7. If you ever watch him promoting his dramas, you will find he doesn't only understand about his own roles, but also the other characters' and the thinking behind their actions. As a singer-turned-actor, he doesn't come to just play and have fun in set. He takes everything and everyone in the drama seriously.

Probably those are some reasons why he got many flowers on this MDL..

Im rly looking forward to this drama. I've known Liu Shishi since Chinese Paladin era and im excited to see her comeback in action/ costume drama. Liu Yuning is my new fav actor, I've positive feelings about him and i think the industry is thinking the same, seeing how he gets casted as ML in various projects now. With very experienced senior actress like LSS, and a fresh dedicated newcomer like LYN, plus all of these stunning actors ensemble, i believe acting-wise they can deliver great performances.

I hope the script won't make us disappointed, and there will be no unnecessary fanwars when the drama is being aired.

me too, smtms i also can't understand some scenes/ reason behind the character's action and would look for what others are saying about it, esp for a human/ modern drama like this, evry viewer might have different perspective bcs one can relate and one might not be able to.

didn't expect BY and RJ would b the first to move into the next step of their relationship, but i think its the right time for them to finally put aside their rivalry and come clean with their feelings.

atleast we know HH is still working on her divorce despite all of the difficulties she's facing but her lawyer said they need to wait for another half of year(?) for it... hopefully she can make it so that she can move on and have a new life.
