Sorry for butting in, i want to say I'm agree that LYN looks like he put a wall among his female co stars, i think he's friendly to anyone but he rly keeps his manner around women, be it older or younger than him. From his past clips it seems like this part of him has never changed since the time he was still a busker singer/ livestreamer. Honestly when the news about his past marriage and divorce came out, i kind of not surprised bcs seeing the way he treat women, friendly and politely, it seems like he's someone who has had deep relationship and so he can understand the women's perspective.

to those wondering why SZE & LYN look rly close and comfortable to each other in the bts/ reuters, it's bcs they have worked together last year in varshow The Truth (开始推理吧) where they're the cast members along with Bai Yu, Zhou Shen, Guo Qilin, and Zhou Keyu. I rly recommend this show if you want to see more of SZE & LYN interaction while waiting for this drama to air :) all the casts became good friends during filming and made the show even more fun to watch, the plot is also quite mindblowing if felt like watching half drama half varshow.
That's why SZE & LYN also hav CP fans/ super group on wb (SongNing CP) even before they're casted for this drama. Fans like it that their interaction look so natural and fun, both of them are talkative, sweet, very friendly, and smart too! They had been wishing to see these two act together, but didn't expect that it would happen this fast, as husband and wife at that😂
But ofc when the drama was announced there were also many ppl disagree with the casting, esp after LYN became the male lead in upcoming dramas with Liu Tao and Liu Shishi (both are known as 75🌸 85🌸), and now he got casted with SZE who is undeniably one of the 95🌸.. how can he got so lucky???😂😂😂 the talks continued until reuters came out, they saw LYN looks so majestic and actually quite a good match with SZE. It even got better when the trailers came out bcs novel fans speak out that they're satisfied with the casting. SZE is petite and cute, but has classic beauty and her make up makes her even more elegant and sweet, the book Xiao Qiao indeed. LYN, with his tall body, fierce eyes, majestic and arrogant demeanor, he is exactly like what Wei Shao is described in the novel, even the mole under the eyes are the same! It's only trailers but we can see the great chemistry between the two and the production team seems to be taking this drama so seriously, hopefully the drama will be able to satisfy us and we all can hype it together!!

NIF is one of my dramas all of time too huhu i rly miss the hype!! i love Gong Yu (all the women in NiF are lovable) so i know I'm gonna liking Lin Lang character too! im glad LYN taking the role of Luo Mingxi and even though he's only the 2ML and might not get so many screen time, he nails it so far and whenever he appers i want to screaaam like what i did back then to Mei Changsu😂😂
