Yes, I saw! But the justifications are childish, mere revenge for the outcomes of certain characters, for the type of ending of the plot, for the frustration of the kissing scenes. I also disagreed, but this did not affect my judgment of the work as a whole and I didn't use my power to give a grade as a way of retaliating and damaging the score. About people who didn't agree with certain plot outcomes and therefore lowered the rating of the wonderful The Double, as if it were retaliation. When you criticize any work, personal feelings and expectations should not interfere in the aesthetic judgment of the work. Just imagine if we evaluate this way every work of art that may have a theme that displeases the critic, to the detriment of its artistic value. Greek tragedies, in this case, would have their scores reduced. Art comes first, be it music, text, image, an actor's performance. Of course, there is a sensorial involvement with the work and the feelings it conveys, but only the technical sieve has the power to grade its value as Art. Emotion and the rational aspect are two human poles, but to evaluate the value of a painting or a series, it is a mistake to judge from a personal point of view. The author must always have freedom to create and we can only respect it. If the plot is good but not all the endings are pleasing, we cannot sacrifice the work because we do not agree with the author's plot. Being well written is what matters. I rated 10 The Double, on all items, even though I didn't agree on the fate of some characters.

An intelligent, coherent, impeccable plot. Blood and tears alternate with extreme strength and beauty, cruelty and Poetry interact with vigor and grace. Human turpitude, vile ambitions, virtues, courage, lightness and fragility move in an absolutely precise game of chess. From an aesthetic perspective, the use of theatrical concepts is simply genial. This theatricality causes a great visual and sensorial impact, enormously expanding emotional strength and plastic beauty. The characters are very well structured. The intricate relationship between the characters, despite being complex and rich in details, is easy to assimilate. Music is powerful and has important role, endowed with melodies and lyrics of great beauty and strength, it is an essential ally that enhances feelings, sensations, perceptions, emotions. The beauty of the images also impacts. Numerous scenes stand out as paintings that resemble masterpieces of Chinese painting. Everything done with extreme subtlety, from the point of view of ancient Chinese culture, its discreet, gentle and delicate art, its relationship with the mystique of death, its profound ability to observe the most imperceptible detail. How much beauty in the tea rite, a philosophical and poetic act. The actors’ synergy is enchanting. The performance of the actress Wu Jin Yan (A'Li), is simply masterful. It demands versatility in all the nuances of the immense human universe of pain, helplessness, loneliness, humiliation, indignation, love, joy, generosity, overcoming, hope. She's independent character, elevates women and removes them from the unfair and imposed passive and defenseless role. Also masterful is the performance of Wang Xing Yue (Duke Su). Through exclusively subtle nuances in facial expression, gaze, body gestures (as manly as he is kind) and voice intonation, he vigorously brings out a universe of feelings that dialogue with the viewer and leads them into this universe. The couple has an overwhelming chemistry, with a relationship that progresses with intensity, making the blood flow boil and the heart beat strong. This excepcional plot has the power to engage the viewer within its world. The plot flows with agility and reconciles hope with justice. Yes!!!! I agree with you! We must consider that this series is an epic and as an epic the final scene is just an epic scene with great theatrical power. The impact is much greater, as we can freely enter the scene with our own imagination, you don't need to see it to become real!

Yes, we all feel the same. But The Double is not just that...You must separate your feelings from fair judgment, this needs to be more rational than emotional. All the fmls and mls had superb acting, the scenes have a stunning beauty, they are true paintings, works of art, the plot is intelligent, the music is passionate and exerted extreme power over emotions, expanding our hearts. These items should be the focus of our judgment. My rating was 10 for everything!
