I think it's unlikely that she will also lose YZJ and get involved with SML. Perhaps so many painful losses are the price of a HE. Without a HE, there is no moral to the story, but a story committed to the absurd and the illogical. I know that many series are illogical and the writers simply force stupid outcomes. But based on this argument, I see some hope.

Exactly! I'm totally traumatized by KMLM, just before it ended I already predicted it would be an SE and that's why I started watching FOF, but the writers' sadism was even worse! You're right, it seems like a wave of writers influenced by Shakespeare's tragedies and also by Greek tragedies. So far TSOPG has not disappointed, although it was a strategic error to kill Shrimp, Loud, Cao Da, Accountant Wei, because they broke the watchers' emotional ties with the plot, and the new characters that entered are not captivating.
