I've been thinking...I don't think DW should consider that “everything that's happening” was her fault, due to a supposed rush to organize her life. When she was in a hurry? A slave (since she was a child) who went through so many trials in that hell, attempted rapes, beatings, and then so many injustices on the ship, was whipped, worked excessively required by the YZJ, faced losses, tragedies, hunger, thirst, kidnapping, arrows, being just a girl who arrives to a strange city, within the same wild world from which she fled. She was honest and generous in everything she did. Why should she blame herself for the cruelty she suffers in that city dominated by corrupt people, when she is so full of virtues and the ability to overcome?
