According to the MDL timer, we would have at least 1 more ep and according to the KISSkh timer there would be 2 like yesterday, just click on the ep number to see (I put the links to KISSkh on the web, the app on the Play Store and apk. Yesterday I watched it on the app from KISSkh). I've been thinking...A Yi's sacrifice scene could have happened before ML faint. And it may have even caused her to faint and/or accelerate the effect of the poison. In this case, A Yi would have been used as an exchange, a price. And the wuxia pressure, is it over?

I'm absolutely sure we'll have a happy ending. ML needs to wake up, NECESSARYLY, to REALIZE MJH's love for her. On the other hand, MJH needs to achieve the happiness of seeing his love recognized by ML. It may even be that both of them die later😅, but not before seeing each other the demonstrations that they both need to see to close the cycle...

There is no point in killing A Yi in place of ML because ML was already dying. The scene of A Yin's death takes place in a sacrificial altar, a detail that reinforces the thesis that it was mere fanaticism. YQ is a fool, he is not a bad person, but he himself is a victim of that kingdom of crazy, fundamentalist people. In addition to this kingdom looking more like a mix of Aztec/Inca empires, the rites and that shaman look more like The Lord of the Rings 😂

The Double is indeed a reference that certainly marks a unique phase in cdramas and encourages future productions to follow in its paths. The series continues an incredible upward trajectory, its ratings have not stagnated, it has broken several records and left a powerful message: the watcher is able to appreciate and value an aesthetically impeccable production, without the need for any technical and artistic knowledge, because before knowledge, come the eyes and the heart! I read a lot of comments just now. It's incredible how we transport ourselves into this parallel world and experience the joys and pains: although it's fiction, our laughs and tears are real (like my tears now). The story has flaws, just like our lives. Whoever writes it is human, like us. But these flaws didn't diminish the human dimension of MJH, ML, LM, characters who showed their misery: they don't deserve, therefore, to be lynched by an intolerant morality that we don't apply in our own lives. Behind the characters, there are the actors, people of flesh and bones, like us, who worked hard, often get hurt, because Art is 90% perspiration and 10% inspiration and, later, 100% inspiration.
The story wasn't lost due to these gaps, because what is most dear to us was safe, the true love that we see between MJH and ML, and the spark of hope that leads us every day to suffer for another episode.
We are Poetry in a wild state, and sometimes our inner beast, blinded by emotion, wants to prevail over our melodious nightingale that keeps our dreams, threads that tie us to life.
Even in the face of the discredit of many and scenes that lead you to believe that there won't be a HE, I guarantee, against all odds, that we'll see MJH and ML prove that the undying flower didn't grow in vain in their paths. They'll have been watered with tears, theirs and ours, as the price of a happy ending.

Hi, Rich7! Thanks a lot for the comment! The fact that you gave due value to The Double and liked the article reveals the sensitive person you are. Even though you didn't have these references when you watched The Double, aesthetically speaking, you didn't have any loss, because your eyes captured the Beauty which, in turn, flooded your heart: for this to happen you just need the sensitivity that is what you demonstrate to have. Similarly, it's like recognizing a good wine at the first sip, without identifying all of its aromas. As for the fact that you now have the references, still using the example of wine, it's like tasting a wine and being able to identify all its aromas. When reviewing The Double, you will be able to identify the sophistication of the artistic conception with all the cultural elements discussed here in the article, which are contained in this masterpiece: they are like the aromas of wine. The cultivation of knowledge brings the refinement of perception, the only way to increase the pleasure that the spirit feels in the face of Beauty and... good wine!
