I love this drama so much!!! Please tell me more jdrama with this kind of vibe!
I'm not sure if you have seen these, but this reminds me of all the Itazura na Kiss adaptations! The Japanese (Itazura na Kiss: Love in Tokyo (2013)) and Taiwanese (It Started with a Kiss (2005)) versions are good but in my opinion, the Thai version is the best (Kiss Me, 2015).
I'm currently watching the show and really enjoying it! I'm at ep. 26 right now. Is the show addicting till the end or does it lose its touch after some episodes and become boring? I am really afraid of 70 episodes, lol. Really, really like the show though, it's amazingly written and so well done and acted!
I think that there are many strong female leads in K-dramas as well. For example, Jang Geum in Jewel in the Palace and Go Eun Chan in Coffee Prince. I also think that Park Min Young often plays smarter, more independent female leads.
same, reading the description made me sad though, it made me feel small
Hi! I'm sorry to hear that it made you feel small! That's not the meaning of this quiz! This quiz is only for entertainment purposes and don't tell anything about you, how you are in the real life. :) Even the most valid and used psychological tests can't tell much about you. We as human beings are so complex that mere quizzes and tests can only make really superficial guesses of us, so don't take them too in your heart! <3 This quiz was made with humour, to laugh to all those stereotypical characters that we have in the Asian dramas! So, I wish all the best for you and hope you a lot of happiness! n__n <3
It was really good, especially the middle part of the story, I hadn't cried this much for NIF 1. But the story…
I agree. I read that the network that streamed NIF 2 heavily edited the later episodes and the whole series got cut down from original 68 episodes to 50 episodes. That might have affected to the quality of the latter part of the series. You can read more here: http://jolecole.blogspot.com/2018/02/deleted-scenes-from-nirvana-in-fire-2.html
Wanted to leave a comment here that even though this is very well made drama, this is, as a thriller, quite disturbing drama as well at the same time. Compared to many other popular Korean dramas this is a very different one and might be disturbing to many viewers, especially younger ones. So if the drama makes you feel anxious, it is understandable. I know that there are many very young people who like to watch Korean dramas, and that is why I wanted to just mention this, just in case! When we get excited in the Dramaland and want to watch every drama out there, it is good to know that this drama might upset some viewers. This drama is very disturbing to me as well, so that is why I wanted to mention about this (I don't usually watch thrillers :D). As a thriller, this is very well-made! Take care of yourselves everyone! <3 n__n
Compared to how Disney adapted Beauty and the Beast to a live action keeping almost all the details and elements the same as in the animation, it's a shame as it seems that the live action version of Mulan will differ quite a lot from the animation. It might still be good but I hope that this won't end up as a story without a deeper plot and meaning, just like many movies nowadays, concentrating only on action scenes and special effects and creating a very unoriginal story arch.
At the same time I understand if they want a new look on Mulan's story, with a more serious tone. In my opinion though, I think that the Chinese live action (made in 2009) did that already really well, it tackled big themes and showed the harsh realities of having to join the war. So I hope that this live adaptation will keep some elements of the animation with it - Mulan cutting her hair is in my opinion one of the greatest scenes in any Disney animation ever made.
Honestly, this is very retro like quiz.I expected some quiz via a site so I can actually click on the answers. This…
Haha yes, this isn't the most convenient way - I remember doing these kinds of tests from the magazines when I was a kid! :D Unfortunately, I know very little about coding etc. so this was the only way to do it - to be able to click the answers and get the results would of course be much faster! :) Maybe one can view this quiz as a relaxing pause, fully immersing into just one thing and remembering the old times! ^^D
