I agree. I’m not really rooting for anyone and they’re all very flawed people yet I’m completely captivated and enjoying it but I will say bei is the least interesting character because he gets little screen time and we don’t know anything about him yet so I’m just surprised he’s the ML

Haha i don’t disagree and he almost dies in every fight because he’s been poisoned. that’s a frustrating aspect of the story for sure but i get it obviously he would be weaker because of it

The ML is a stronger man then most because she’s rejected a kiss from him twice now and he’s still completely unfazed haha

Agreed Gong is absolutely the ML of the show right now haha

This show is so interesting. like do they want us to root for the FL and ML when her and Gong have the real chemistry?

Every time the FL says I love you it’s after feeling guilty about lying or doing something behind the ML back. She’s just saying it to emotionally manipulate him and we haven’t got any intimate or emotional scenes between them yet even the kiss cut away implied it but didn’t show it clearly that’s a deliberate choice from the writers and director. I think at this point she’s interested in him maybe likes him at best

So I’m on episode 3 and I thought I understood the FL she hates cheating and that’s why she’s cautious about love and in her weird line of work but now I’m not so sure because it seem to me like she had real feelings for Gong when he had her up against the door and confessed his feelings she was tearing up that was no longer just acting and she told him sorry for deceiving him

Oh boy. well I’m mentally preparing myself now for when I catch up on it later haha

Same and I’m curious to see how well this drama will be received. I feel like it’s going to be hit and miss with people just because it’s so different

I’ve only watched one episode and this already feels like nothing I’ve seen before from a CDrama. It’s definitely got a different vibe

Yes and that’s the problem lol she needs to set romantic boundaries with one of them it doesn’t matter who she picks but she knows both of them like her. so she’s leading one of them on if she doesn’t make a decision

I’m really curious how the writers are going to pull this together at the end because I fear they are about to turn all of the viewers against the FL in the next episode and I honestly can’t blame people if they don’t care for her character after that. To me through 8 episodes the writing makes more sense for her to be with the SML and remain friends with the ML while splitting time co parenting U ju but we will see

No way she goes on a date with the SML without giving the ML an answer about how she feels about him right? If so that’s wild behavior. This love triangle is the real deal. Girls straight up living her best life with a work husband and a house husband lol

I get she had her reasons as well but she was also genuinely hurt to hear his reasons. so I think she wanted both a husband with a good background and love

So fang mu Jing is one of them people who are super smart but lack common sense. Jumping straight into marriage without asking any questions or listening to her professor was so stupid
