Okay I started this after finishing a couple serious romance dramas and just wanted to watch a fun bad or good trash kinda show which this perfectly fits that category but now I’m enjoying it so much I’m convincing myself it’s actually good haha

Okay this is officially the worst writing and plot I’ve ever seen in a CDrama haha

This feels more like something Japan would come up with not china haha

Episode 10 in what was supposed to be the most dramatic scene of the show so far had the ML being so pathetic that it had the opposite effect on me and ended up being so funny that I busted out laughing

If the SML was a good guy I’d have zero problem with it because the ML rejected her she doesn’t owe him anything but he’s not so it’s going to be so off putting to watch if they go that direction haha

Of course she should treat him with respect and kindness as a colleague and yes she called him out on his BS but they also agreed to start over fresh so I hope she doesn’t drop her guard down around him and start showing interest because that will be hard to watch but we will see

It’s going to drive me crazy if the FL and SML start having sweet moments together because that makes zero sense for the story and hu xiu character. Even if his feelings for her are genuine she knows he’s a snake when it comes to doing business and she’s clearly a character written with high morals. So I really hope they keep the relationship between them completely professional and only work related

Oh now the ML wants to act like a jealous loser when he’s the one that rejected her. I’m glad she straight up told him she deserves better good for her. Rough two episodes for my boy haha

Why in the world would she be swayed by the SML? She knows he’s shady and does things the wrong way when it comes to business and he has been using her to make the ML jealous haha

I’m so mad at the ML right now. he lead her on so bad and then rejected her. That was brutal

People upset already about a love triangle haha don’t get me wrong I dislike that trope as much as the next person and it could become one but through 4 episodes that’s not what this is. so why not wait to complain when it actually happens

Okay I agree that she wouldn’t give up her business and family for him but that’s just it she would have to make a much bigger sacrifice then him he’s got one friend and his job and let’s say after his final case is over he’s willing to give it up to be with her what’s wrong with that? It’s his choice. Not every relationship is perfectly equal sometimes one makes sacrifices for the other. It doesn’t make him a loser. To me that’s what makes this romance so interesting it’s not just black and white

Well said. She has a cold demeanor while he is more lively in the way he expresses his feelings and i think that’s the problem for some people

At first the ML doesn’t even remember who he is so of course it’s easier for him to show his affection for her because he doesn’t have any responsibilities and then when he gets his memory back and could have given everything up and married her he does the right thing and picks his job over her. So he does have self respect

I see some people don’t like the romance dynamic in this show while I’m over here enjoying every second of it. It’s so refreshing seeing two characters that clearly like each other but aren’t willing to give up everything for love especially RSB she has a massive business and family to take care of

So at this point we have the motivation and reasons for all the characters actions except yan I can’t figure this guy out I keep thinking he’s scheming but RSB asked him if his feelings for her would still be the same if she had nothing and he can’t answer her if he’s just out to get something from her why wouldn’t he just lie and say yes?

19 episodes in and this show hasn’t slowed down for a second. Zero filler every single character actually matters to the story I’m so impressed. This could end up being my favorite CDrama ever
