As much as I love this show I’m still questioning some of the editing and the way they tell the story. Because there was a scene maybe a couple episodes ago where Tu Li calls out to Cen ye when he’s leaving work then it just cuts like what was the point? Haha

Miao jing walks in to see Tu Li in the house wearing Chen yi clothes is shocked starts getting a little annoyed but does she blow up and get all jealous no she reads the situation like a mature adult tells her boss to leave even after he’s invited for dinner then immediately starts helping them. Queen

Episode 25 is one of the best so far

It really does. But this should be fun seeing it done with big name actors and budget haha

The plot sounds like something you’d get from a mini drama haha

I made a comment days ago after the first forced kiss and just watched it happen again. Unreal the male characters in this show are just gross

The FLs comedic acting is great. It’s a real shame it’s wasted on this script

if she has a mission they sure are taking their sweet time letting the viewers in on it haha

Zhou Kang an to Chen Yi if you keep staying on the fence you can kiss her goodbye. I’m glad a character said what the viewers have been thinking the last couple episodes

Alright Episode 17 was basically just to show how great the ML is she’s now aware of everything he’s been doing for her. So the wedding situation should have some progress soon but this show hasn’t been stressful at all. I am crazy for thinking she will probably officially call it off with the crown prince and start seriously considering one of the other princes maybe even start going through wedding proceedings with one of them or something because where’s the drama in this drama? haha

Interesting I personally don’t see it like that at all. I think even if it was a different audit team and MJ wasn’t involved Zhang bin still would have brought chen Yi back into the fold because he’s the only one ZB trust to handle something like this. For example he would have just threatened one of chen Yi friends at the pool hall instead. And Chen Yi has also been working undercover if I had to guess ZB is probably somehow involved in the cops wife’s death so with or without MJ getting involved he was still going to be in the same danger if anything she’s helping him

The way Chen Yi shows his love by always protecting her is the very thing pushing her away now. All MJ wants is for him to open up for them to be a team to share his burdens with her but he’s making her feel like a burden instead

Chen Yi better step up or he’s going to lose her. Every word she said in this episode was spot on like when he was trying to give her a car and MJ said what’s the label that comes with this and he froze they could have become official right then and when they are on the beach and she says you love me but you are awful at showing it she means affection. This episode was kinda hard to watch I was waiting for him to man up and be the one that actually makes a move first but it’s like he’s incapable of doing so

I agree that things happen fast and get resolved quickly in this show but to compare it to ashes of crown is diabolical. You have gone to far 😂

Interesting. If he is the father I hope they had a relationship and it’s not something much darker because her story is already sad enough

Are you talking about the older guy that came to her shop causing trouble she was in a relationship with him? if so I somehow missed that

They got me feeling for Tu Li. it seems she actually really likes chen yi and not just the protection he provides but she’s probably never expressed her true feelings because she knows she’s got no shot. If it’s not Miao jing then this man would probably just die alone

Miao jing saying I thought you wanted to sneak around and make it feel a little different. like damn girl you to much for sweet and innocent chen yi 😂

I was a little harsh on this show when it first started I thought it was fine but wouldn’t end up being anything special and I still stand by some of my criticism but damn is this show entertaining and sometimes that’s all you need. I’m absolutely loving it now

I don’t know who picked the songs for the opening and credits but they nailed it. these songs fit the vibe of the show perfectly
