I’ve never watched a drama with two different endings and I really don’t know how to feel about it. like to me the one the writers thought fit the story best was the one in episode 40 so why even give an alternate one?

Same not a huge fan of ghosts but honestly she really doesn’t seem like one anyway. more like just a immortal being with supernatural powers haha

I’m enjoying this so much and Fantasy is by far my least favorite genre because most of the time it’s just a bunch of mumbo jumbo haha so I’m glad this one is really straight forward with well established rules and world building

Yeah it was somehow romantic funny and kinda a sad thought all at the same time haha

For me Episode 1 absolutely lived up to the hype. Strong start

This one really just gets right into it. Episode 1 was kinda a lot so many characters right off the bat and I don’t know who’s working with who or what the hell is going on haha

Yeah unless I’m just not feeling it at all I try to give these long costume dramas at least 10 episodes because that’s often around the time the stories start really picking up

I personally think episode 8 is the sweet spot on this one. if you still don’t like it after episode 8 then maybe it’s just not for you

No joke episode 8 was incredible wow how the hell am I gonna sleep after being that hyped up lol

Yeah they say fan is a mother of two right before they head off into battle at the end. just show us them with their kids or maybe they only have one and the other is her sister because they are basically her parents as well. would have been nice to know. I support you’re ending over the screenwriters haha

Well personally not a big fan of the last like 10 minutes definitely could’ve used that time better but it’s still my favorite historical or costume Cdrama I’ve seen so far. A great show overall

Yeah I feel like if she was from the future why didn’t she use her knowledge to better her life? It feels so forced. I’m just going to pretend that never happened haha and I didn’t need that last like 10 minutes of them in a alternate life like save that 10 minutes for more cute moments between the characters in the universe we’ve been following the whole damn time

What in the world is Qian Qian really from the future? Is this something they went deeper into in the novel? Because this show doesn’t have fantasy elements. so it feels so out of place haha

I’m so used to shows like this starting off slow and light developing the characters over like at least 10 episodes before any real action happens but damn not this one it gets right into it. Really fun first 4 episodes

Agreed and I don’t mind the slow pace. I think some people might have underestimated the melodrama tag also the FL is a little strange especially how she handles relationships not just romantic ones. So people aren’t connecting with her but I find her interesting

Looking through the comments seems like people aren’t enjoying this one. While I’m absolutely loving it. For me this is one of the only Kdramas in recent memory that hasn’t been a struggle to finish. Maybe I’m just a sicko lol

In my opinion gong is her best friend and soul mate he actually understands her better then anyone. The only problem is he’s a cheater and that’s a deal breaker for her because of the relationship her dad had with her mom and that other woman. So ultimately no matter how perfect for her gong is in a lot of aspects it could never have worked between them romantically
