Hopefully that's the case with this drama. because sometimes even if the novel writer is involve with the drama, it doesn't necessarily will follow the novel closely. Case point the Lost Tomb adaptation

Just finished watching 1st episode & in my opinion its good. It follow the novel closely in addition to more details on YuTu. Because in the novel, YuTu doesn't come into the picture until JJ start training for the game.

If the drama follow the novel closely, there's no breakup because of parents, ex-bf/ ex-gf or SL.

If the productions company that did the Reunion: The Sound of the Providence adaptation can cast the same cast for both season, I'm wondering why this productions company cannot do the same?

All the adaptations are made by different productions companies, that's why the cast is different in every adaptations & the quality of each adaptations is varies.

Is this adaptation made by the same production company that produces TLT2 in 2019? Because most of the supporting cast are the same. They only change the actor playing WX, ZQL & Aning only.

I'm planning to watch this after I finish Ultimate Note, however reading the comments, I'm hesitant to do so.
So far, in my opinion, of all the adaptations, Ultimate Note is the best adaptation in term of plot & chemistry between the cast.

After complete watching this drama, I'm confuse about several things.
1. If all the archeologist team was killed at Banai by the greedy guide and somehow replaced by fake, does that mean all the people that went to the Island is the take as well?
2. If Xie Lian Huan & Wu San Xing switch places, howc come no one in both family notice when Xie Lian Huan come back pretending to be Wu San Xing?
3. Why did Zhang Ri Shen did not aged at all?
4. Who's the mask guy that have similar tattoo with ZQL?

Not necessarily thing to increase the episodes since the novel itself is quite short but maybe it's good if they did not include the wedding plot in the original 27 episodes.

I like the first quarter of the drama, however after that till the episode 50, the plot kind of all over the place. The last 2 episodes are ok. I don't know why but the female doctor character irk me the most. Also, what's up with the episodes where WX & SN stuck at the monastery? It feels like they tried to film some sort of romantic feelings between the two of them but it feels cringy when watching it.

Chinese fans hate this drama because the novel where this drama is adapted on, some of the characters is based on a real life e-sports player & some of the plot is also based on actual event. I guess they feel that the novel writer is being disrespectful & rude to the e-sports player & e-sports in general.

Looks like this year theme is love story between uniform officer & doctor. This is the 3rd similar theme drama. I like YAMH, don't really like You are My Guardian. Hopefully this drama is good. The bts posted on YouTube by Youku seems interesting because the actors were trained by real life firefighters & medical professionals.

I read an article somewhere that this drama got bad reviews because the novel plagiarized a real life e-sport players. If part of the novel is based on a real life person, is it considered plagiarism??

I watched 4 episodes. So far it looks interesting. it doesn't stray too much from the novel.

rather than a patch, why can't the make up artist use make up to cover the tattoo? it will be less weird than using a patch.

I wonder if the script writer change the FL occupation from doctor to other occupation like nurse, etc, would most people stop comparing similar themes drama to DOTs?

What's up with the ML? He has wooden & stiff face almost the entire drama. Not only the face, even his body is totally stiff like he was painted in a piece of plywood & move around like a puppet. Even the 2nd ML change his expression when he was with the 2nd FL.

After the success of WoH, I'm kind of worry about this drama since many people will have high expectations of Simon Gong new drama.
