Is Kim Ji Eun character the leading lady?? She barely has any scene which more like supporting role & has no background story at all. She just suddenly shows up out from nowhere.
Lesson can be learn from this incident and all other similar case like this is: If you want to enter entertainment business, make sure you don't have any skeleton in your closet or it will bite you once you are famous. IMHO, both of them got what they wanted. The women: to destroy KSH work & career. Not sure if KSH will be able to achieve success like this in the future even if he able to comeback from this scandal. KSH: He become famous & successful but at the cost of the women sacrifice (i guess). SK in a way is a weird country with a somewhat weird law. They look down on single mothers but don't bat an eyelash on premarital sex. They also don't have strict law on sex crime which make me wonder is it safe country for single women.
I watched till episode 4. Although the chemistry between the 2 lead is amazing, there are already few things that annoys the heck out of me in the drama. 1. The newbie is such a scaredy-cats, but his acting is not cute but annoying. I haven't read the novel, so I don't know if he somehow will become a secret weapon in the future, but for earlier episodes, he's really annoying. 2. Probably because of poor editing, some scene feels like they are missing in the middle causing me to ask what happen? Why suddenly the scene skip for some reason. 3. The villain henchman are hilarious. He talk big on how he should be the one complete the mission, but end up weaker that the shadow thing. Now, continue watching ep 5.
Edit: I just completed watching all 40 episodes. Aside from the amazing chemistry between BY & ZYL, the rest (plot, villains etc) kind of average. Basically it's just a quarrel between 2 siblings due to some misunderstanding. If SW & YZ just communicated properly.
Isn't the original title of this drama is Dream of Chang’an? Why the sudden change of title to generic type of drama title? I would never realised it was the same drama if not because of the poster.
i dont get it...why every drama candle of tomb..always change actor/actress. consistent please..
Because the license or the right to the adaptations was sold to different productions companies so different production companies will cast different actors for their adaptation. After several adaptation, you kind of get used to it although all the actors performance will be compared on each adaptations by the viewers.
I like the FL. For example when the ML stepmother sister ask the FL to persuade the ML to go see his father, she stands by the ML and explain to the aunt-in-law to see from the ML point of view why he refuses to see his father even though hia father is gravely ill.
I'm sad the plot is so boring and empty ;( it's a big waste on the cast
To me the drama is quite interesting although some of the plot can be repetitive, but which drama doesn't have repetitive plot these days. To me, the drama kind of mirrored the society today. Also the cartoonish villain, they remind me of the Member of the Parliament & the politicians in my country. They supposedly an adult but they act worse than kindergarten children when they "squabble" in the parliament which totally embarrassing to watch.
Watching episode 9, Ga On should learn how to be a shrewd person if he want to win the battle. Also, the President press briefing remind me the press briefing of certain former president of a certain country.
