They both are stubborn and hard headed. They make a very good team when they have a same goal but when they dont see eye to eye on things, it can get messy.
I saw comments saying that ZhiSheng should tell CSS about his real identity but he didn't even though CSS ask him several times. But in ep 47 ZS almost told CSS about it after Peng Kun has been killed. I believe ZS would have told CSS about ot if his mother/ aunt didn't passed away because with Peng Kun dead, there's no other witness know that Ling Yi slaughtered the Huo clan and being the last of the Huo clan ZS would feel responsible to find justice for the whole Huo clan who died.
The ending feels a bit rushed but I'm still ok with it. One thing that disappointing me the most with the ending is that there's no wedding scene. After all the things CSS been through, she deserves a wedding scene.
Is it possible to cry and smile at the same time while watching this drama? I feel like people around me who didn't watch this drama think I'm crazy because 1 minute I cried, next i can't keep myself from smiling.

The harem tag probably for the emperor since he has 2 wives (the empress and Consort Yue). Most of the married male characters only have one wife & don't have any concubines.
I don't think the drama is that dark, I mean even in a serious scene, the writer able to add a touch of comedy for example when LBY and the general ( i forgot his name) argue about wheter his armour is chicken wing or mandarin duck wing.

The empress situation and the crown princess situation is almost similar. It's really sad seeing the empress face when she watch how the emperor give more attention to consort Yue in front of her. I'm not condoning the crown princess action but considering what happen and what she been through since she married the crown prince, its kind of unavoidable she became like that. All the other prince & princess keep praising the crown prince 1st love & some of them even give snide remark about her humble origin & background and keep reminding her that the crown prince married her out of duty for the country. If she had a child/ children, she probably could ignored all those negativity and focus on her child.
It was so funny and cute when CSS tries to sneak in into the military camp & all the soldiers has to pretend that they didn't notice, they even try to indirectly help her "find" him.
