It does seem like he has more opportunities now to choose the dramas he actually wants. And at least based on Wang Duo’s example, it seems Guo Jingming isn’t petty enough to create obstacles when a contract ends. In that sense, at least a better boss than another controversial dude with the initials YZ.
It’s just that most people don’t know Tian Jiarui actually goes to auditions, and that his newest roles weren’t simply handed to him on a platter by Guo Jingming. That’s mainly what bothers me and the hate part. I guess GJM was trying to protect him with this equal billings thing for all four leads this time, but it didn’t work out well either. My English is just weak, so I can’t express it as well as I’d like on my own.

Same. Although I enjoy GJM dramas a lot, all this hate towards TJR isn’t fun at all. And the way his hard work and skills get dismissed simply because he happens to belong to GJM’s agency.
About the fox sight/eyes — wasn’t there some flashback in earlier episodes where we could kind of see through the fox’s eyes, and the view was blurry? So he wasn't entirely blind. Or am I imagining that?
