Yes exactly i have the same questions as you mentioned. Also who ever wrote the story is BAD, very bad at his job. There was 0 complexity, it was literally a film about debt collection and not revenge, thriller,suspense, action or anything. After watching this i am not surprised with the imdb ratings

I really hope they have a good idea how to continue the story if it's actually happening. I never thought there will be a 2nd season because the ending was kinda perfect (everyone got what they deserved) i mean obviously there can be tons of plotlines they can explore...like will the wife come back, will junmo persue lee haeryon and everyone will perhaps try to take revenge on junmo or it can be a completely different story also (new case for junmo after he got promoted). Also if everyone retain their roles it will be 3rd collab between bibi and JCW ...whaaaat

After watching the series i felt JCW's character was the most well written one even tho he died so early. Like we literally saw his childhood scenes, his love,ambitions,fears and interactions with so many characters. He was definitely an anchor to the story. .but i have to say that the story was very incomplete in my opinion. There were so many open plotlines they didn't conclude the war(most probably budget issues), didn't solve the king's murder (even tho there was so much focus on that). I seriously think that the story was initially written as 12 or 16 eps but then cut short

The father keeps asking her bcoz the 4th prince is weak and has a weak army and the 3rd prince will come to take the throne so if she marries the 3rd prince it will avoid the war atleast

I think people had issue with the ratings because some people made fake accounts to give 1 rating because of the sex scenes.

I guess it gives him a lot of creative freedom and some respite from the ratings race.This also means that he'll probably not be on Netflix for a long time as they are hardly producing any good originals nowadays
