As pointed out by some people, maybe it was a subversion of the clichéd revenge thriller..something like a dark…
the fl was promised something and she got it without too much killing (no killing i guess), the villain seemed too powerful but was just pathetic(unlike other films). Also in any other film, the main villain would have perhaps sacrificed him because he was so pathetic but she didn't because she had a mother's heart and finally all characters were pathetic and greedy in their own way...it wasn't like the fl was ACTUALLY owed anything, she was a corrupted cop who wanted black money. She wasn't like a clichéd "good" person gone into revenge mode
He was boring in Revolver, almost cliché, a copy of other degenerate bad guys from other gritty movies. I'm a…
I wouldn't blame him for revolver..i guess he just wanted to get starred in a movie after so many years and got an opportunity so took it...i was really angry about the writing...its so shit. Jcw even said that he had to imagine what type of character "andy" was as nothing much was in the script. The writing was that bad
Now I'm getting bored of seeing ji chang wook in similar dramas/movies back to back. Worst of evil then revolver,…
Then you will be disappointed about sculpture city 😃, that one will be more darker than these(most probably). Me personally i am enjoying these dramas. Revolver had really bad writing in my opinion but the rest of them were really good esp. WOE
You're wrong but still let me tell you that there is no shame in failure, the real shame is not in trying something new. I think at his level he can simply take cliche roles and make some people happy but he always tries to take on new challenges and that takes courage
Ji chang wook...this guy though, you can see love and care in his eyes when he's with the queen, disgust when he's with the ministers and bloodlust and fearlessness when he's in front of the enemy. He's ready to take on more mature roles like this(already proven in worst of evil) hope the directors/producers take notice
Good acting, good ideas, bad execution. The movie felt like they either planned a series and cut down whatever…
Seriously , so true 😭. Nowadays i think most top actors should look for jobs outside korea, they seriously lack good writers. There were so many revolutionary movies and kdrama at some point
Well, it’s not an action film or a revenge film. It's a film about debt collection, that's all. I liked it.…
Yes exactly i have the same questions as you mentioned. Also who ever wrote the story is BAD, very bad at his job. There was 0 complexity, it was literally a film about debt collection and not revenge, thriller, suspense, action or anything. After watching this i am not surprised with the imdb ratings
I really hope they have a good idea how to continue the story if it's actually happening. I never thought there will be a 2nd season because the ending was kinda perfect (everyone got what they deserved) i mean obviously there can be tons of plotlines they can explore...like will the wife come back, will junmo persue lee haeryon and everyone will perhaps try to take revenge on junmo or it can be a completely different story also (new case for junmo after he got promoted). Also if everyone retain their roles it will be 3rd collab between bibi and JCW ...whaaaat
