I think China has too many restrictions and censorship. Next season can take years to be aired and maybe by that time, some actors might be banned. You cannot compare to Western TV. No actors gets ban for cheating or any dumb shit.

I watched 3 or 4 episodes of Immortal Destiny but all these mini dramas all have similar plots I got tired of watching them and wanted something a bit different. I finished Your trap. It started off so good but then got nonsensical towards the end. I find this happens to so many dramas, like Double Life. This got me hooked right away and then the last few episodes ruined the whole drama.

Yes that's about right. They got their happy ending and then 'the end'. It then tag on at the end that there were survivals from her clan and she might return to lead...opening for 2nd season. I couldn't find anything to watch so catching up on these mini series.

I want to like this but I really dislike FL who talks big but cannot follow through and still need the ML to save her every single time. I was hoping for a badass FL but another one of those being brave but stupid/soft-hearted.

if he wants to sacrifice himself, all he needs to do is just kill himself, instead of saying all those bs to the FL to get her to kill him. So dumb.

The last 3 episodes ruined the drama for me. It was at 8.5 but after the ending, I can only rate it 7/10.

Interesting I thought the ML was pretending he didn't know martial arts but he really didn't know. But why is his bodyguard so weak if he can't fight himself? wouldn't that make him a easy target to be killed.

The way I see it, we tend to hurt more when we care more so in this case, she didn't really care that much about SRQ, hence, didn't feel that hatred about him killing her. Not the same if it was her brother or PWX since she love them.

I'm still on episode 11 and I find myself getting distracted and finding it hard to push through to the end. The whole drama just didn't seem believable. For 2 years, they were grieving the loss of their child (miscarriage). I get that people have different reaction and deal with it differently but for me it just seems so extreme that they got to the stage where they were like strangers when they were supposedly deeply in love for 3 years. I'm not trying to minimize miscarriage. It's painful and I had one as well. It's quite common but not the same as losing a 'life child' . You said the issue wasn't even addressed at the end so this makes it even harder for me to push through.

I couldn't have agreed more with what you wrote. I started this while it was airing but put it on hold. Thought I would complete this from my watchlist but I'm still on episode 10 even with a lot of skipping, after a week. Definitely was not what I was expecting from the high rating of 8.8.

I find HT's love more believable than JX. We can see he liked her for over a decade but for her it has been just weeks.
