It's not a happy ending but a satisfying one. I love Taiwanese drama when it is done right. But if you like drama with kids, try Please be my family. There are 2 cute kids there and it's a decent watch...drag a bit in the end.

I had to drop this at episode 19. Can't take the stupid actions of the mains anymore. So frustrated to watch FL being easily manipulated by SFL and she's not even a smart villain either. 6/10

if you want to watch on Netflix, I would recommend More than Blue, the series. It's so good but prepare to have some tissues handy.

I've seen the killer is also Romantic. This one was a nice watch. If you like that, try butterflied lover as well, same universe. I've seen some with Richard Li but they usually end in tragedy. I have to check but the name sounds familiar.

Oh these republican dramas :-( I would never expect a happy ending but at least hoping for a satisfying one. Thanks for the spoiler.

Ugh I might have to fast forward most of his part then, it's quite annoying, his one track mind. I'm surprised he survived all those stabbing and drowning with his face in the lake. Wish someone would just kill him...lol

No I haven't seen it. It seems very low budget, maybe filmed by students? I watched the first 5 mins and the FL got raped by the ML because he was drugged? I guess it's cheap thrill to pass the time lol.

Yeah I had to watch 2 or 3 times before I finished ALP. I guess depends on the mood. You could try JOL. I put it on hold first time after watching a few episodes when I found out about the cliff hanging ending but I finished it before JOL2 came out. It actually quite good and so funny but the romance is meh. If you're looking for a short series, I recently completed Undercover Affair. It was decent for a short series and the ML was hot and kissing scenes were hot as well.

I'm on episode 6 and I don't like WJL. He's so arrogant, think he's invincible and take on the whole sect by himself. What a self righteous fool.

Regardless, it just turned me off so much, that it makes it hard to ship him with the FL, if his first instinct reaction to his wife dying is 'I'm free'. He didn't care at all and kept asking the doctor if it's really 3 months? such inhumane behavior, not sure I can get passed that even when he redeem himself later. Left a very bad taste...

It was enjoyable in the beginning but this goes downhill after episode 14....

Yeah these short dramas usually have really good kissing scenes, maybe due to no censorship. I don't like watching them in youtube though...the music/volume are off sometimes due to copyright. Kinda annoying.
