Both seasons were good but I like season 1 more with the comedy and goofiness on the ML. It was unexpected and made me LOL. This season was more serious but the cases were better.

This was surprisedly quite funny and entertaining. The acting of the main leads are not bad either.

So disappointed with the FL. I thought she would be a bit of badass for revenge drama but she is nothing but a weak character and damsel in distress waiting to be saved by the ML.

It's because people are becoming dumber and dumber. They will believe whatever is portrayed in dramas and imitate it. They had to cut the scene where FL jumped in the water, hoping to get back to her timeline, just so girls don't go committing suicide and do the same. All these censorships are mainly to prevent people from doing dumb shit.

To answer your question of why. It's because time travel dramas are banned in China so they have to be creative and use VR games, coma dream, writing a novel etc. to get the drama to pass censorship and being able to air. You'll need to put up with this shit if you plan to watch more Chinese fantasy dramas with time travel.

With the ways things are going with Chinese dramas, seems to be getting stricter with censorship and bans. I don't think BL will be showing any time in the near future. It would be great if they are allowed to sell to the international market like with Castle in the Time.

The support casts acting are so bad, especially the preceptor and the Emperor. They made the main leads look like superstar with the acting.

The FL acting as twins is so bad. I can't tell the difference between the twins when they are supposed to have different personalities/ demeanor . At least put different makeup on the actress to distinguish them. There are some actresses who are so good, you would think they are actually 2 separate persons.

Interesting... Zhang Yu Xi is in a support role and not main role. No FL main role so I guess romance is minimum.

if that's the case, I wonder why doesn't production companies with BL dramas that have been shelved for years just sell them internationally so to recuperate some of the loses?

Agree about the cinematography. It's quite good for a short drama and so far enjoyable and looking forward to more episodes.

Is 8.0 considered very low?? in what platform is 80% considered very low?? Then MDL's rating is very inflating.

This would defeat the purpose of these short daily dramas of less than 15 mins. It's mainly for busy people to watch daily like during commute.

It's a Chinese drama. This was shelved because one of the leads is Korean. It's not being showed in China. The ML is still banned there.

This was filmed in 2016. Secretary Kim is newer.
