Yes age and look wise, I can't imagine her in the role of RRY. And the gang addressing her as Ruyi jie??? I think she might be more suitable as YY in the beginning...not sure her acting skill can pull off what HLD can do with the character development.

I have to disagree on you with ZLS. In my opinion, she is definitely not suitable for the role of RRY. She ruined WRTW for me but more suitable for LLTG.

Can we please stop with these kind of comments unless you've watched it and judge it yourself? The drama just started recently. There is character growth as well. There is enough censorship in Chinese dramas already. If this continues there will not be enough interesting dramas to watch already since everyone is just so sensitive. It's DRAMA for a reason and not REAL LIVE. If people can't distinguish between that, then should not be watching it.

I didn't find anything odd with his reaction. NYZ said he will go back for her and told the rest to go with original plan. YL has always been sensible and mature in following orders and it was also never implied that he was in love with YY so I didn't find his reaction inadequate.

yes agree. The Korean version is definitely better in production and visual. I went in with very low expectation with this remake so i wasn't too disappointed and it was entertaining and funny despite being cheaply made.
