Do I need to watch any of the other related shows before starting this?
I haven't watched LIP and after starting this, it makes me less incline to watch it. I feel bad for Fugui and his parents (protagonists in LIP) were the ones who put him in this situation.

This was a good watch and everything wrapped up nicely. The only thing I didn't like was the Empress getting off easily. She has never treated MY like a daughter and all of a sudden at the end all was forgiven. Both the Emperor and Empress didn't deserve the good outcome from their horrible selfish actions.
