I agree with this. Huazi might be in love (or hero worship) with Wanghe but she's not cringy and acts like a lovesick puppy, especially in the adult arc. They act more like family, hence their words are sometimes without filter but you can see how much they care about each other. I think they are both afraid to change the dynamics of their relationship.

Yes that has always been their dynamic since they were kids. I was expecting him to be really bad based on the comments. He still treats her like family and that's how family are sometimes. We say really mean things to each and with no filter. Then we apologize and everything is good.

I think you need to differentiate between acting and real life. Calling it pedophilia is over the line. I will agree with you that it's disgusting if they are actually having a relationship in real life but IT'S ACTING and they did not do anything inappropriate on screen. I guess you've never watched American TV shows. There are so many shows where they have 16-25 years olds to play teens and kissing is involved. Are you calling all these pedophilia shows?

I think Wanghe is feeling really guilty regarding Siyi. He still blame himself for what happened to her grandmother and brother. The guilt will eat at you and I think that's why he has this obsession of finding her.

I think perception really depends on how you were brought up. They have this dynamic since they were little. I think I'm more forgiving for the belittling and rudeness since I'm used to it with my family. I know my family love me and the way they expressed themselves might be rude to others but I know they really care about me. Just different generation I guess.
