Most romance c-dramas have a 2nd couple. I'm fine with the 2nd leads and they didn't really bother me.

They added the 2nd lead couple so that will take up maybe 1/4 of the drama?

I get what you mean but maybe they don't want to pay extra for more popular actors for minor characters? I think Ai Mi would have been a perfect Sang Zhi, age appropriate and pretty.

I don't think so. First time was the Jan 1 New year and then Chinese New year which is just a month or two after depending on the lunar calendar.

Netflix usually have good Eng sub but it's not that good this time. The English translations lose some of the meaning in some scenes, like when WYF was looking at the moon and someone was saying WYF was SY's 'white moonlight' but Netflix didn't translate that.

Yeah sorry was a bit harsh, was just a bit annoyed with how everyone was crying that VM didn't get cast as SY here.

People need to understand TFF is a S+ drama with high budget. No one is going to cast a main character to an unknown actor and just hope for the best. Even with the popularity of HL, Victor Ma didn't really gain any major roles or even popular support roles after. Production companies are not stupid to invest in a high budget drama on him.

No offence to Victor Ma but he would not be able to pull off the complicated darker character of SY in TFF. I don't think he has what it takes to be a main character but he's great at being a support role.

I watched 4 eps and it's sooo good. I think someone has mentioned before and I agree, the only thing I think would make it better is if the format is similar to L&P where their high school past consist of a few episodes so it flows better instead of just short flashbacks. But nevertheless, loving it so far!

This needs to air right now! I missed Arthur Chen since L&P.
