Funny how the low ratings are a problem because the drama isn’t over yet but no one questions the 8 to 10-star reviews for the same reason. If we’re waiting till it ends, that should apply to both sides, right?

old ≠ mature. Do you think it really makes sense that someone would hire a 27 old actor to 17 because they want him to look mature? They could have just hired a really good actor who looked like an highschooler and knew how to act like a depressed kid. I don't have problem with him playing this role but you don't need to justify it by saying that it was 'intentional'. I don't think that it's that deep, I've watched enough dramas to know that it's a trend in chinese drama to make 30 years old play a highschooler.

He's seen as his shadow, wear black because the brother liked it, studies maths because of the brother. About the other students, the girl likes ML so naturally she's nosy and the guy sort of sees ML as this perfect guy who is getting spoiled by FL and her friends.

Well his mother did come to know that he's in contact with her but did she actually do something to her parents? ofcourse not Now, is the time that he should just say that "she used to be my childhood friend and those letters are simple letters. We aren't friends anymore." would suffice and put end to those rumours. And he literally hangs out with that pair of boy and girl, that guy literally took his letters and spreaded rumours about FL. He still speaks to them, laughs and spent time in school with. The least he could do is to ask the guy to stay away from his matter and don't spread rumours that include him.
I just don't understand ML's logic, can't he just tell everyone at school that FL is his friend and those letters weren't love letters.
