I don't think that's true. There are both type of people, one who give extreme high rating for their bias and on the other hand hater give extreme low rating. At the end, it all balances out

HRY always knew BJS is someone who keeps his morals above all the things including her, considering he left to suffer alone. Then, she begged for him to show up at temple but he didn't. Why would a HRY whose trust has been broken so many time, still go the BJS with the hope that he'll help her get her child back? She rather risk it all herself than go to BJS who according to her could refuse her and hinder her plan.

why do I feel like at the end BJS is going to exchange his life in order to bring his child back to life or something like that? That could be his redemption

The scenes of BJS's disciple are the just pure torture to watch.

I think HRY doesn't hate BJS for punishing her for helping mortal. She perhaps deep down knew that she will consequences for her actions, what hurt her the most was BJS leaving her all alone. He claimed to love her yet he left her helpless.

watching this I wonder if this should have been a movie adaptation rather than a drama. There isn't much plot in the story for it to even be 24 episodes, the story is getting dragged on with side characters having almost equal screen time as the main leads.

That's not how it works. If them being high schooler was the issue then there shouldn't have been any type of kissing scene be censored or not. Moreover that's not the issue. It's the actor who chose a script that required multiple kissing and makeout scenes but refused to do them.

tbh, it would have been better if they had just kept the tension and not shown that censored kiss. It broke the flow and brought be back to reality.

It shows how lazy a screenwriter is when they don't even bother to give characters a proper reason for falling for someone. I still don't understand why exactly did ML fall in love her.
According to the writers, Like same thing= compatibility= falling in love.

I think it's just me but for a breif moment after the time leap I did shipped GY and XCX together. They are polar opposite to each other and can balance each other. Unlike main leads where from the start we are told that they are super same.

True but you can't expect people to invest their time in a drama with a not so good pilot episodes with the hopes of it getting better.
Tbh, the first four episodes are not bad but they are not excellent either. Like if this had an unpopular cast, I doubt people would have paid attention to this one
