Lee Shi Woo did a great job in this short drama. For such a young man, he made those bedroom scences look so realistic.…
Well that is real life, noona romance always romanticize young men and older women but in real life younger man are much more likely to cheat on you or his interest would quickly fade with an older women when they can have younger women. This is rarely portrayed in drama when in realty this is more common.

Thank you! Was about to say. When a women cheats, it is always Romanized and given deeper meaning. When men cheat, it can only be lust. For once, in this drama, they didnt completly vilify the husband to excuse her behavoir.

A movie about a woman who comes to the realization that she's nothing like society expects her to be. But don't…
Would we even ask the question about freedom if it was a man having an affair while married and abandoning his child? I really don't get this double standard about feminity and freedom.

Truly hated the fl character, so much so that it ruin the show for me alltogether.
Yes, Japanese drama in particular often romanticize affairs.

She felt guilty for her actions even thought he forgave her, she couldnt go back. Time passed and she forgave herself and matured... they met again.

Why are they pairing him with Shin Hyunbeen? Man, I hate these stupid age gaps.
In the original, he was also much older.

Waiting for the age-gap tag! Oh right! It’s the male who’s older! No one cares😂😂
Right pretty rare nowadays having an much older male lead. Love it

Didn't like the Japanese version so much because of infidelity. hated the FL character. Maybe the Korean version…
Japanese dramas have been known to put affairs in almost all of their romantic drama series (less before, but most prominent know). I dont think this version will follow the original too closely...otherwise what's the point of a remake. Their profession also don't seem to be the same (composer & actress).

She wasn't forgivenbut her husband the poor fool I don't know what to say about him. I guess her having to look…
She was as that not a real repercussion, she gets to keep her family while cheating husband usually ends up dead, broke, disabled or in prison. It's as much a punishment for him or worse considering the child isn't his. She can also decide to bail out once the children are adults and he still has to be a father to that child. Who's really getting ''punished'' here.

So everyone is alone in the end!? Great, strong female doesn't need a man. I hate when they show a woman divorce/break up, only to find the perfect man (rich, CEO, young, etc....) to marry right after. It takes time the succeed and find the right partner in life and it's completely fine to be alone for some time, no one's going to give you happiness but yourself (not even work that they love glamorize in drama-land so much as being the ultimate self-realization of a women).

Watching Chinese dramas, you would think that all husbands are bad. If they are trying to portray realistic households, maybe they should stop portraying wives/housewives as if they've achieved sainthood and all the problems in their lives or external problems (colleagues, husband, mother-in-law). I would like it if once they could portray flawed female leads that acknowledge their character flaws and actively work at them and change in the end would be refreshing. All Chinese female-centric dramas are the same.

The fact is how many dramas have you seen where ML cheats and it has a deeper meaning? All daily dramas center…
All research have proven that women statistically cheat almost as much as men. It's being over-represented in dramas because of the demographic of viewers. Not because it is accurate.

Nahh she was definitely giving him the massive side eye '' HELP'' whenever the other guy approached her. Why would you look at another man who's not a friend every time you are being approached someone?!

The day I will see a drama with an affair tag from the male point of view haha. Anything justifies an affair. We are always meant to sympathize with a woman caugth in affair with a unloving husband to justify it.

I strongly disagree with the reviews about this ''affair drama'' as it fails the same way every other affair dramas fails. It may not romanticize affairs but like every other dramas about this theme, it doesn't portray the husband as the victim of the affair or truly empathize with his pain. Like every other dramas about this theme, it portrays the husband as the perpetrator or catalyst of the affair. We are never meant to see his pain as the victim. We empathize only with the FL and her pain, regardless if she's the one that cheated. This is where all these dramas fail. Until they truly show both sides as they often due when its the husband that cheats (vilifying the husband that cheated). This dramas like all others in the genre fails to depict the true nature of infidelity on BOTH sides.
