I find it interesting that every time a drama depicts cheating people say it's trying to normalize it or…
The fact is how many dramas have you seen where ML cheats and it has a deeper meaning? All daily dramas center their plot around cheating husbands and betrayed love of the FL then they end up dead, crippled or broke. While FL ends up with a rich guy most of the time or a young CEO. There's never been a drama where a ML cheats and we as viewers are to understand the ''complexities of cheating'' as you say it.
How the hell does some of the viewers might find this good? Every episode the kid (ML) was almost drooling in excitement when there was a case paternity test that could destroy families and relationships. He seems to be having fun throughout the show. He was immature and insensitive from beginning to end with no character development. Unless you are a teenager no grown-ass professional woman would fall for a kid that plays games. There was a reason why this show is only 15 episodes, it must have been cut short. Also, what's with siding with the woman through all the cases they had, depicting the men that felt betrayed has petty and vindictive? Can the show be not so biased!!
I can’t understand how some viewers still supported CJR. She literally poisoned her own baby to keep custody of child and wanted to blame her ex-husband for negligence!! She kept the child only for her career advancement to be portrayed as a single mother but never took care of her and she often gotten sick because of it. Mo Ming failed to identify his ex-wife post-partum depression but that was his only mistake. CRJ used and manipulated every single character of this show to her own benefit. She was borderline a sociopath, that wasn’t just depression.
There are only two people in her company? At least her husband can clearly see the SFL's intentions and has some reservations even if his relationship with his wife is stranded. She might not have feelings for the SML yet but you are a married woman and your boss is your personal chauffer...
In the first movie, he was a serial womanizer, in the second movie he is still his, with many girlfriends. Why would she pick him!? Or did she just leave without picking any of the two? The second movie really ruined all the good things in the first one.
Imagine a ML getting married and soon after having a child with his wife he decides to dump the wife and the baby to go back to his ex (FL). The leads were selfish and annoying. Boss Chat has 2 ex-wives that divorced him to go back to their ex-bf leaving a child behind. The poor guy will probably never get into a relationship again. Plus, was there any resolution with Beam and Nick?! Are they together or still in the friend zone (their kiss was a dream it seems)?
The only ending I would accept is everyone moving on. Nick deserves someone who's right for him and that's not Beam. Beam hasn't divorced and fled, pregnant with her ex, still thinking of getting back together with her husband when she realized she was pregnant. I just don't see them ending up together as this would be a villain story with the number of people they've hurt. She needs to go back to her husband with their child and beg for forgiveness and he needs to move on and find someone that really loves him (not in a crazy way like Beam/Wan). This drama plot is somewhat similar to the C-Drama; From love to happiness. Where both female leads eventually married someone else and the ML becomes more of a '' family '' and they all emotionally grew up.

Zhang Han’s modern office dramas are usually centered around his character except Boss and Me.
In most of Zhang Han's office romance dramas, he's already a CEO and its the female lead we mostly follow and her rise in corporate. They usualy drive the story and ZH is the support and does the courtship but never really the central focus.
