Someone wrote in the main comments that a lead actor had to be replaced after filming was largely finished. If true, that would explain what happened with Seon Ho in the ep.7 confession scene.

IrisDelacore commented above that a new lead needed to be cast just after they had finished the filming. That would explain why Seon Ho is not looking at Mu Yeong. It would be interesting to know more about this.

This is just an unpleasant personal attack on someone who stated an objective opinion. Please don't attack people personally. If you disagree, explain why in a civilised manner.

I agree with you about the awful Toh character. His continual goofy simpering drove me up the wall. It doesn't even make sense: no human being would maintain a cringy grin like that while sexually aroused or actually having sex. This series borders on woke trans propaganda, in fact. The premise that three nice normal masculine guys would be attracted to three vacuous cringy queeny boys is foolish, unrealistic and uninteresting. It just got my back up.

The wardrobe is unrealistically lavish but nice to look at. The shocking pink knitwear in the final scene is sensational.

I'm surprised you didn't complain about the open-eyed kiss -- truly horrible. But the final scene makes up for it. I agree that two more episodes were needed. We don't see enough of the way their feelings for each other develop before they confess to each other. And when the stinker trope happens it seems to be only days since the confession, whereas, as we learn in a flashback much later, they've been living blissfully together as lovers for a considerable time (though that too needs to be shown).

I agree the dialogue is good, though one can't understand a number of details by relying only on the Viki English subtitles. As usual, Viki's German subtitles reveal the shortcomings of the English ones. Though, in the conversation between Ji Ho Joon and the female influencer (Song Ji Hui) in ep.6 neither English nor German nor French subtitles manage to make sense. Clearly Viki's various translators all struggle in isolation.

I am a novice regarding cinematography. Why are Ji Ho Joon's hands so often an unflattering red colour at odds with his face, and why does Seo Jae Yon have a yellow face in a couple of closeups?

I was annoyed by far too much singing going on right through some of the main couple's most important conversations.

Thanks for taking the trouble to provide this. It's a big help while watching the series. In the second and third sections "your" should be "you're". And in the first line "wanna" should be "want to" ("wanna" is jarring in a serious text, because it is crude slang, not standard English). Otherwise great.

Thank you. That reads very well in English (I don't know Filipino). The second-last line would be more correct without the comma.

A good rant always has typos in it. They're proof of its authenticity.

Thanks for your reply. That's really disappointing and hard to understand. If I was a BL producer I'd want my films to be seen and appreciated by as wide an audience as possible. And it wouldn't even have cost him anything! Would it help if I wrote to him suggesting he reconsider?
