A lot of commenters complain that the story was hard to understand and criticise details of the plot. Maybe this is because Viki's English subtitles don't do a very good job of translating the subtler parts of the screenplay. The German subtitles are much better, and I finally understood the story in detail after switching to these. In my experience, anyone reliant on English subtitles for Asian BLs is at a disadvantage, because the English translators are usually worse than those who translate into, say, French and German.

Contrary to what you say, Cha Jung Woo did not stop writing for 3 years. Because his compulsion to write was so strong, he spent those three years writing books that Kim Jung Hyun out of either compassion or love allowed to be published under his own name. Only when the deception is revealed towards the end do we really understand what is driving Cha to publish under his own name again, and see that Kim was not as selfish and possessive as he at first appeared. And as you say, it is piquant that Cha was involved in the same sin as got him ostracised in the first place. But there is an important difference: the senior Cha accused used a ghostwriter to dishonestly bolster his own reputation. It was not Cha but Kim who did more or less this -- and only for altruistic reasons, not because his reputation needed any bolstering (as we see at the end when Kim is ahead of Cha on the best-seller list).

One reviewer said there are a few mistakes in the English subtitles. Wrong. EVERY SINGLE subtitle has got at least one mistake in it: wrong grammar, wrong words, words left out, and worse. These would have to be the most incompetent subtitles any BL producer ever insulted the international audience with. They make the story impossible to understand properly in many places and obscure many nuances in the screenplay. Edit: You can actually work around the bad English subtitles in YT. Turn on Spanish or Italian subtitles. Then open the subtitles menu again and turn on auto-translate to English. Now you will be seeing an English translation of the Spanish or Italian subtitles. The auto-translation is far from error-free, but it's way better than the rubbish English subtitles provided by the video producer. Edit: It is often necessary to re-do this configuration for each episode. For this series Italian are the only subtitles provided for all episodes. French are the best and Spanish the least good. In the auto-translated English subtitles you will notice that pronouns are often confusingly wrong (e.g. she instead of he, it or you instead of he). And when Nhai calls out "Ai!" the translation will be "Have!" or "To the!" for French/Italian. These are defects in YouTube's auto-translate which Google is unable or unwilling to fix.
It looks to me as if someone realised halfway through that the writer and director were irredeemably bad and cancelled the remaining episodes. Why else would Nawee's horrible family have been introduced and revenge on the horrible father promised but not delivered?
