have you found the novel? this is the movie version of "Noble Aspiration/Legend of Chusen" series... i'm sure you can find a link from the MDL page of the series. I remember a few people have posted it.

first time seeing her now in Handsome Siblings.. first ep and I'm already at awe with her acting..very powerful expressions... she's beautiful and fierce!

just finished ep1.. judging from the solid performance of the support (the yihua sisters and yan nantian) I believe this series is gonna be worth our time!

The emperor looks much younger here than in Nirvana in Fire... I hope he has a good exposure and dialogue here, just like in NIF... I loved his interaction with his brother and eunuch in NIF1.

I really love him in NIF1... now he's the emperor again in "Under the Power"

Ye Hong Yu... the Taoism Addict.. but only sort of admiration for being the strongest and bravest woman he has ever met.

it was mentioned, that demon sect (or barbarians) have different levels and type of cultivation.. the highest for them is reaching the peak of martial arts, which he did through that fight with tang (technically, by dying through a magical blade).. so maybe it was the equivalent of Knowing Destiny.

first time watching Mone..she's so adorably cute!..and very natural!

I really think she's under-appreciated... she's got the looks and the talent..she's very good in being bad!

yes, the hugging and the arm greeting (don't know what to call that) really put me off... you can expect that with NQ and Chao Xiao Shu.. but never with the King,.. NQ still have respect to the King and he wouldn't breach protocol.

lol, I thought she's already over acting in season one..who knows she can still outdo herself in this season. I wonder if this was really what Director Yang Yang's intention.

I've watched her since "the woman who wants to marry".. and who could forget the young talent who played young "Hwang Jin Yi", and Su Ji Ni of Legends.. I knew she has a long career ahead of her... but sadly, I haven't seen her new dramas as adult (young adult). My last of her is The Great Merchant (Kim Man Deok)... hopefully this new Money Game drama would re-ignite my admiration for her talent.

lol, I 2nd that... they made the king look like a tavern owner... not as dignified as the last one.

she's so gorgeous in white in Ever Night 2.. i think she will be in more dramas from now on.

Don't rush it, people.. it's a huge change from season1..so we need to adjust our expectations on the new faces, maybe as if it's our first time to watch this drama. Right now, it's awkward and we can't seem to connect with the characters (with new faces).. but let's give them a chance to grow on us..at least for the sake of this beautiful masterpiece, that we have patiently and eagerly waited to continue.

what I like about this drama is the balance between the power struggles (serious ) and the character relationships (light)... the emotional focus on the relationships of the brothers and emperor kinda reminds of the characters in NIF1 and Rise of Phoenixes. It shows as the human side of the royals, they have their greed and ambition, but also worries and affections, the desire to be acknowledged and be loved.

And of course, who can resist the sparks in the bickering of the main leads! :-)

guess so, but loving her expressions here... I always laugh at her scenes with Fan Xian.
