1) you get to wear dozens of gorgeous clothes 2) drive exotic cars 3) eat the best food around Seoul 4) you can curse or say anything you want and don't have to pretend to be nice!
and you get to boss around the dashing Yeo Jin-Goo!
So far, this remake has the most beautiful and handsome casts, and Kabby Hui is by far the most beautiful Xiao Zhao, and also Sun An Ke as Bu Hui... but they made a lot of mistakes on the older guys specially the age.
It's supposed to be 30+ years since the death of Yang Ding Tian and the decline of ming sect, but Yang Xiao and the rest of the leaders are still in their 40's (did they joined the ming sect as toddlers?)... and Chengkun is supposed to be in his 60's, but Luis Fan (the actor) is so much younger than his disciple, Xie Xun who's in the right age (late 50's)
I'm eager to see her performance as Wang Yu Yan in the Demi Gods and Semi Devil remake... still remember how Crystal Liu looked like in the 2003 version... she's like a mannequin doll!
I'll always be a loyal fan of the orig series with Yun Eun Hye and Gong Yoo...but seeing the female lead in this poster makes me want to see this remake...she's rocking the bob, too!
Just hope they planned the story well to fit the 40 eps... ( time skips every 10 eps...lol)
Well, after just the 4th episode...you don't need to be a prophet or a high priest with enlightened divination to foretell that THIS drama is going to be new benchmark of Chinese dramas...or the whole Asian industry, that is.
Cinematography, Architecture & Set Decors, Costumes, Tribal / Traditional customs, Sound engineering, Music....and ofc, the Acting!...everything is JUST AWESOME AND AMAZING!!!
Can't blame anybody for having surgeries... it's their life/body. But I've already seen and loved her beauty ever since "Sea God".... it's natural and angelic. Just sad to think it's not enough for her.
I love JJS but I think I'm gonna wait till the drama ends to watch it.... so many C & K new dramas airing and it gets really confusing to watch few eps a week for each drama..... it tends to disrupt the flow, and will leave you forgetting some main points in a story if you're watching multiple dramas at the same time.. (curse of drama addict. lol)
So, in order to really appreciate the new dramas whole heartedly.... I'm refraining from watching them as they air.... will just binge watch after. :-)
I hope they start airing this soon...like at least this December...lol.
After the remakes of first 2 parts of the trilogy, I've been checking this page to see an update.... might try to re-watch the previous versions to recall some scenes while waiting for this new one.
I wish they could get a bigger budget for this drama, the 2002 and 2009 versions really ruined the story with their cheap CGIs and mediocre costumes.

I'm already liking the past works of these two... looking forward to this!

I think Nine Provinces is better for their ancient and oriental settings.
still...my fave is the soccer mom, Alison. :-)
