That is funny that you say that because I cannot imagine Yang Mi with anyone other than Mark Chao in Eternal Love.
the premise/main plot is actually good, but due to ban on time travel, they made a huge (rushed) changes in the story, so the last part and ending is frustrating... but the journey and development of the Female lead, and her chemistry with the ML is worth it. plus lots of action!
I'm re-watching Fu Yao again, I can't believe I forgot that she's the fake Fo Lian Princess .... I only thought that I first saw her in Ming Lan as the elder sister Hua Lan. She's really good as two-faced Fo Lian in Fu Yao, and as sweet and caring sister in Ming Lan... and to think that she's only 25. (so that means, she's 23/24 in Minglan, and became elder sister to 30+ Minglan (ZLY) and MoLan (Shi Shi).. and 28 yr old RuLan (Karlina Zhang)..lol
I failed to recognized her, while watching Joy of Life, that she's Na Lan Yan Ran in fight break sphere... she seems taller in JoL.
But seeing here, that she's gonna be Mu Wan Qing in the next Demi Gods, is proof that she's more versatile and more famous than i thought. good for her!
This drama have good reviews even in mainland china (douban).. but why is there no streaming sites that cater to this... YT have private/paid channels so I can't watch it there either. saaadd!!!
She looks very different here from her roles in Legend of the Dragon Pearl and Glory of Tang Dynasty.
Haven't finished Legend of Dragon Pearl yet, still in early 20's episodes, so I don't know she was also in that drama. I'm still waiting for all the subs to be completed. Haven't seen Glory of Tang also.. is it good? tnx
I like her acting, I don't know if she needs to develop her skill anymore I think her acting skill is already…
tnx for the reply.. not saying that she lacks the skill now or her acting is still sub par.. but debuting from rom-coms to serious dramas (specially historical/palace dramas) will need more practice and development.
I can see "Ni Ni" in her... tall and slender, with facial features that are classic, but can pull out a gorgeous childish smile.
A side note: The transformation of Zhang Wei Na (Bai Shan Sui) here is really amazing! if I didn't recognized the name and thumbnail pix, I wouldn't peg her to be the same soft and gentle character in "Sword of Legends" and "Noble Aspirations".... great for her!
Indeed the ladies are great until they start raving about "THAT MAN". From what I saw I don't know what the fuss…
"That Man" refers to the Bashan Sect leader Jing Meng (Peter Ho) who was betrayed and killed by the emperor and fiance ( now empress) in the first episode... don't know why everyone has to call him that, maybe for the traitors..out of guilt, can't bear to say his name... while for others , out of fear, that they might incur the suspicion of the current emperor and his minions.

have they even started production yet?
