Yeahh,but I hope they do add that part,since chu qiao knows zhuge yue is alive but hasn’t seen him yet. But for me,that part in the novel had more of an impact.
Also,before some of you start complaining about lots of flashbacks,you need to watch Princess agents to understand about the flashbacks. As I said earlier on,this is a sequel to PA,with some changes. The flashbacks are very necessary to the story(why Yan xun became this way & chu qiao having a change of heart after the frozen lake scene). Also,yes there’s romance in there but not heavily involved as the political intrigues and war is the main focus(it was the same in Princess agents),the romance comes naturally,so if you’re expecting heavy romance,then this drama is not for you.

Yeahh,I actually knew she was faking it. It was obvious with the questions she asked Yan xun & her actions. But Yeahh,soo far it’s going according to the novel with a little change here and there.

In the novel,if I remember correctly,she didn’t have amnesia,just that she was very sad & depressed about zhuge yue’s death & she later escaped with her maid). Also,zhuge Yue didn’t save her in the lake,like in the drama. They actually met during the lantern festival,after chu qiao wished to see zhuge yue again,while she was talking to herself by a lake at the festival,not knowing zhuge yue was already there & watching her.
So I watched the first 5 episodes & I’ll say they’re faithful to the novel,just that some things have changed in the drama. Probably 80% of the drama is accurate like the novel. Also,those who watched Princess agents,this is a continuation from the frozen lake scene & if you haven’t watched PA,go do so,it’ll help you get a feel of the story. 5 minutes in and the way they were devouring each other caught me off guard,to the point where I was shouting,’damn,hold on,I wasn’t prepared for it’with a huge smile on my face. Then when it almost ended,the spicy flash back scene to them kissing and getting freaky got me saying gatdamn! The story telling,chemistry,cinematography and how engaging it is got me HOOKED! This is how I like my BL’s,I’m always more inclined towards matured/old yaoi BL’s than the young ones. Can’t wait for the next episode.
You can only support BL,if you want. I watch BL,GL & bromance dramas but if the actors CHOOSE to do a bromance,despite their insane chemistry,I’ll still support it cos in the end,it’s not up to me but the said actors if they choose to do a bromance or a BL.

Yaaayy,finally made a page for this drama. This will be my second GL(first being Claire bell), but this will be my 1st GL from one 31 & I know they never miss with their LGBT dramas 👏🏽. The trailer is on one 31 YT page & on twitter.
I know this drama is going to make my BP soo high,like how love in the moonlight was making me scream & curse while watching it at work 🤣🤣😩😩. One 31 NEVER miss with their captivating BL’s wheeww!!
