I watched a few sneak peeks from part 2. Sorta confused why it seems like YD continues to fall for TZ despite…
I think she is not separating YY and TZ but she is separating their actions. She refuses to love TZ because YY and TZ are the same and she vowed to forget YY. However, TZ (especially without his memories) is innocent so she is still trying to treat him the same which is why she is inadvertently falling for him again.

I really really hope YD continues this attitude towards her love for YY in S2 so that TZ/YY has to actually work for her love. I hope her will doesn't fizzle out soon because of her love. I know that'll bring a lot of angst but i just rewatched episodes 10-18 and I don't think TZ done enough to make up for YY's (fake) indifference

I loved that! I loved that she did her duty by him but decided she wasn’t going to continue this song and dance…
Completely agree! I'm looking forward to him being the giver in their relationship in s2. Feeling love is good but showing love is better, i hope YY finally makes up for it.

I understand why many people are heartbroken over the ending because YD has decided to stop loving YY but I, for one, absolutely loved that. I was rewatching the angsty episodes to prepare myself for this and tbh he deserves it. He does love her and he has done a lot for her but she was right when she said that he will always end up choosing the world over her. It is better for her to stop here, if he wants her love he can prove that later but this is better for her for now. While i loved them, the power dynamics in their love story somewhat bothered me. Not only was she less powerful and with a lesser position, she was always the more proactive one in the relationship too. At least in AOL the ML was weaker in terms of love since he was more proactive. Hopefully s2 will show YY being proactive and giving her the love she deserves using her love language. And yes, i know that he loves her A LOT but does that even matter if she does not feel loved? So I hope the love dynamics change in S2, it'll make it even more exciting!

I really want them to release s2 tomorrow but I don't want to get my hopes up since they haven't released the episode preview. I think LLTG had released one on the same day when the last s1 episode was released because their s2 was starting the next day.

YY in his softy softy voice to YD: "We are destined to part. I hope you forget about me and live a good life. "

Daddy, in his supremely deep voice: "Don't be stubborn. Be my wife. "

I see some red flags but red be my color these days no kiddin

Who's Bu-Yeon's real father? Any guesses?Could be anyone, or was she conceived through alchemy of souls as well? And…
I think it is the general (Yul's father)

I'm loving it so far, but I don't think this needed a s2. The story can be concluded within 20 episodes. I don't particularly mind more episodes (cdrama effect) so i actually like that this has 30 episodes, but i would've preferred to not wait for the second half. Waiting long for s2 is so much worse when you know the story could've ended well in one season.

I was kind of hoping that too that Mu Deok would be revealed as the lost Jin daughter before that stupid fake…
I just hope they'll reveal it within s1. Wouldn't want to go through the fake daughter trope for more than 5 episodes

I think it is mostly because both her goals have lost their value in some way or the other. She had two goals…
Yes of course, but she still doesn't know everything that we as viewers know. She doesn't know the exact details wrt her father's soul shifting. I'm sure she still wants to know the further truth and act accordingly. Imagine dedicating your entire life and taking countless lives for the sake of one goal, only to find out that the foundation of that goal was a lie. She is not going to immediately just change targets and charge like a bull when she still doesn't know the complete truth. Her actions, or lack thereof, seem very realistic to me but i wish they showed us more scenes to establish how lost she truly feels. There was a purpose to her father being victim to soul shifting and I'm sure there'll be a scene showing MD find out about it, pretty sure they'll use that as a plot device to bring back her desperate ruthlessness.

There is a hiatus next week. Based on kdrama trends, something massive will happen in tomorrow's episode. Usually shows take a hiatus right after a very critical plot point.

I don't think the showrunners intend to keep CP out of the loop for very long since they've been hinting at him suspecting the villains for weeks now. I think he'll find his real mom with Uk tomorrow

the king is pretty useless...very incompetent to be a king
Yeah! Pretty sure season 2 will end with CP becoming the king

I think Buyeon's real father is the general (Yul's father). He obviously couldn't remain a househusband at jinyowon since he needed to go become the general but he must've trained to be a mage at songrim before that considering he sent Yul there. (Jinyowon mentioned that she was once betrayed by a songrim mage)

Most interesting reveal of ep 15: Bu-yeon is actually Cho-yeon's half sister. Then who is her father? It can't…
I have a feeling that it is Yul's father. The fake daughter seems to be falling for Yul and might use her new position to get him, maybe we'll see things play out then
