Up to episode 16, it’s clear that Zang Hai is primarily focused on his mission and has been trained to resist forming emotional attachments, so it feels like he’s using An Tu mainly for strategic purposes at this point. There’s no obvious sign of genuine romantic feelings from him yet, and his interactions with her are cautious and calculated. However, knowing his character—honorable and sincere beneath the guarded exterior—I don’t believe he would deliberately manipulate or toy with someone’s emotions just for personal gain. He seems to value honesty and integrity, even if it takes him time to open up. Meanwhile, An Tu’s feelings are also still ambiguous, so for now, their relationship feels more like a complex alliance than anything deeper. It will be interesting to see if and how their bond evolves in the upcoming episodes

Zang Hai has a genius-level mind and knows exactly when and how to use it. He may fall at times, but he always knows how to rise again — and he brilliantly uses his surroundings to his advantage. And Xiao Zhan playing this role is absolutely amazing.... He brings so much depth, charm, and intensity.... i love his acting ❤️🔥
I genuinely love this series, but Charlie and Babe calling each other 'Mama' and 'Papa' is unbearable. It's not cute, it's cringe—and it's ruining perfectly good scenes.
At first, it was Xiao Zhan’s visuals distracting me from focusing on the plot — like, how is anyone supposed to concentrate when he looks that good? And now, on top of that, we’ve got the insane chemistry between the FL and ML. How am I ever supposed to focus on the actual story?Someone please send help — I’m literally dying a little more with every episode. This show is taking me out daily!
I was low-key rooting for a no-romance plot at first, but their chemistry is just too good to ignore. Now I’m like, okay fine — maybe a little romance won’t hurt. The flirty banter, the subtle glances? I’m living for it. It doesn’t even need to turn into a full-blown love story — just let them keep teasing and building that delicious tension.
