I think that in 'Till the end of the Moon', we were so enamored by TTJ's suffering that we forgot that Li Susu had been through hell and back so many times. During the first episode itself, she lost her entire family. The ml betrayed her trust before the first 10 episodes and caused her to lose an eye and most of her life. As Sang Jiu, her story was still full of suffering. Then, when things finally began to look better, the 2nd fl caused everything to go to hell for them. She had to sacrifice herself extend TTJ's life and despite al this, she never once lost sight of her mission. Even forsaking her emotions and life for it. In the final arc, she gave up her status to protect TTJ from being killed and yet, she still had to deal with the grief of losing him for the greater good. She had to raise their daughter alone and the open ending never let us see their reunion.

What if it really isn't a happy ending? Cheating and abuse either never happen or happen continuously once they start. So, who's to say that he won't abuse her or she won't cheat on him?

Imagine if we had LYX playing Hua Cheng instead of Zhang Linghe, I mean the latter has improved a lot since Maiden Holmes, but I still doubt if he can pull of Hua Cheng well enough. I have absolutely zero confidence in Zhai Xiaowen as Xie Lian, his acting skills are miles away from the requirements, I hope he has improved during the filming.

Might just be melons, but if it's true, then out of the three actors from the first season whose return was doubtful, two have been confirmed to return. Only Xiao Zhan is left, I really hope he agrees to come back. This is a good script and from how season 1 ended, his character will most likely have a major role. Zhan-Ge, please come back. 🥺
