I'm just sad the writers didn't want to develop any family relationships in this drama. We could've seen SD growing as a character by realizing his faults, apologizing to KS and trying to be a better father to him.
This drama should have been about Kang San, Mi Rae and Jan Di coming together as a family, not whatever this is. I'm still mad that Ye Ju doesn't know Joo Hyok's past. He wasn't just "a not so nice guy in a bad situation", he mentally abused Mi Rae and cheated on her!! Many people go through worse things than JH did and they don't turn into abusers! Just turning him into a goody two-shoes with no gradual development is soo ridiculous. I should've dropped this drama the second they puled that move honestly but I loved the leads too much. I still do. :'(
Well technically it's longer than The real has come because in Bumpy Family (like in all the daily dramas) there are 120 eps - 30min each and if you devide the eps by 2 they're technically 60 1hour long episodes. But I've noticed actually that the short running time of the episodes makes them easier to watch.
Jun Pyo is the real MVP of this drama 👏 I hate how dumb they've made Jan Di for the sake of this messy plot! Kang San and Mi Rae made me tear up 😭 One thing that I really like in the middle of this mess is that they're going though all this together. In YLAG I had lost count of how many times the couple broke up because of ridiculous plotlines and toxic people around them. *sigh* If only we got more romantic scenes between them instead of watching SJ being a manipulating psycho. I don't even know if we'll get a kiss at this point. I hope the plot moves forward this week and we get some cute moments in the last episodes at least!

I liked the first 4 episodes! The main couple is a bit boring, although I love the actors 💕 I'm excited to see how will the second couple'story develop!

Oh noo you're probably right. I hoped that this scene would be later and thus we wouldn't have to worry about Sun Ju for more than two weeks. Seeing all the mess this weekend with TRHC (I'm not watching but I've seen complaints on twt and here, seems like they really YLAG-ed that one) makes me really scared for what's coming here. 😔

Yees, I remembered the character description when I saw her so worried. She's always cautious to not upset her family especially her mother, who wasn't against her dating JH back then, so it'll be harder for MR now. She'll have to upset literally everyone in her family to be with KS. I'm afraid there's going to be a break up after all but I still have a glimpse of hope 🥲 For once I wish the leads would stay strong together. It was nice to see KS being so determined 🥺 I hope MR and KS have a talk about things next week (hopefully without breaking up)
