Was thinking the same. I need some movement asap. I mean...we are at episode 45 and our ML & FL are not even indicating…
I have to say that I do have fun watching it despite the lack of romance between the leads but I'm tired of watching Joo Hyeok manipulating Mi Rae and everyone.

Yeah we've seen that he's not confident and I think that mustering up the courage to pursue Mi Rae (and also going against everyone's opinions regarding the matter) will be his character development.

If that happens, I think he's going to ponder on it a lot and by the time he makes the decision to say sth to her, she's going to see for herself his true character. So then that could make a conflict later like "so you knew? why didn't you tell me?" hahah I would like it if he found out and told her but I actually think she's going to find out first how much of a trash he is. I just hope we get a lot of good romantic moments between Kang San and Mi Rae when the romance starts because they are already adorableee!! We need more moments with them and not one ore two interactions per week!

My thoughts exactly!! I'm so scared that they're going to rush it. I like to think that Kang San has some feelings (only a little) because he looked really worried for her this week but then again he is worried about everyone (*sigh* he's so kind-hearted, i love him!!) so maybe I'm just delusional hahah
I only saw the preview for next week and I'm manifesting Mi Rae's father reveal to happen once June starts because I'm so done (+bored!) with Joo Hyuk and I need some romance between the leads already!
I just know that the mom is going to come back and be the most horrible person ever...I can't get mad at Jan Di and Kang San for still hoping that one day she'll come back because I'm also a delusional optimist lol so yeah...I just feel bad for them. I think him being so against getting a divorce is going to highlight the importance of Mi Rae in his life (later when the romance starts) because he'll finally want to fight for something that concerns his own life and happiness. We're probably going to have to wait until mid -June to see the romance unfolding but I'm so excited, I shall wait!!
On ep 3 and I struggle to keep up with all the names of the places and the characters. Most of the time, I'm staring at my screen confused while trying to understand who are they talking about. I don't know if it's the show's fault or my brain isn't functioning lol But the drama is still really intriguing and I like the characters so far!
As much as I hated Prince Song, it was really interesting to see his thoughts and feelings about his father, his position, etc. His behavior made sense that way but ofc it was still wrong. I facepalmed when Prince Qi chose the noble idiocy route but the aftermath was hilarious! I can feel the confession coming, we're almost there guys lol I love them so much I think Ying is going to leave soon, she keeps staring at the leads with a bittersweet smile.
I'm rewatching some scenes and Song Wu's love line would have been one of the best if they had developed it more. They're still adorbs but imagine if he was there from the beginning and their love line wasn't rushed. Maybe he could've been working in the palace and they would be friends while he has a crush on her without realizing. And then something happens and she sees him in a different light so she panics and starts avoiding him. He misunderstands and keeps asking what's wrong so she confesses. He then rejects her because he thinks he's not good enough for her and his little sister convinces him he is... and then it could have been played out like it did in the show. Like give me the bubbly princess x silent and nice lower class guy romance I deserve! (and it would make more sense for her to drop the princess title for someone who she knew many years as her friend than someone who had just met, I still can't believe she did that btw lol but it's fine they're cute)
Ep 25 was soo good! The way the girls and the two princes rushed to save her while ignoring all the rules, was so sweet to watch! Prince Qi was so precious, I love him sm!! I'm really happy he came to the rescue, like I was cheering for him during the whole scene. (I love his romance with Princess Shangyuan aaah their slowburn is just *chef's kiss*) Prince Zheng was so fine, Bai is such a good actor, HE ATE THAT SCENE!! I also love the directing in this drama so much. All the shots are so beautiful, that scene where the sun goes up and brightens up the faces of the girls and Hao Jia says "it's dawn" just transmitted the "hope of another day" to me through my screen. Nevertheless, I want more romance, please show give it to me!
i have not many ongoing kdrams now (they either don't interest or disappointed me) so i may dip my toes into my…
If you start this, keep in mind that it isn't the best on its genre. I feel your struggle! There aren't many interesting ongoing kdramas lately. It's why I've moved my interest to cdramas these days. Some upcoming winter kdramas look good though (especially Shin Hye Sun's)! I can't wait!
I love the leads so much!! Personally, I have no problem with the ml being more of a softie and less of a cruel villain, he's hilarious and Zhe Yuan plays him so well! The fl being a nervous wreck reminds me of myself sm lol I love her, she's also funny and soo cute. Their moments seriously give me butterflies, their chemistry is amazing! My only problem is the second couple. They're kinda boring for me...
