The memory flashback scene during FL’s drive to hospital after hearing ML’s car accident news made me realize how far they’ve come. They first met with not-so-nice impressions of each other. Those early episodes were so light and funny because both of them were 100% their true selves without feelings for each other yet: the ever so grumpy Chairman and the not-shy-at-all sassy CEO Ma. I rewatched and still lol at the moments when FL mistook ML as a door boy 😂
I thoroughly enjoyed this week's episodes. Highlight scene for me was Chairman Han's apology to Gwang Sook in front of the brewery. He was so sincere and full of self-reflection that idk for GS but I already forgave him then lol just kidding, although I still don't fully agree with the idea that he's trying to get close to her bro in laws when she is uncomfortable with it. Uhm Ji Won is such a seasoned actress. It broke my heart at the scenes she cried, when she felt guilty for her late husband staring at their wedding picture in the car, and when she thought Chairman was severely injured. The hug scene was truly old classics but I still felt so touched. And from the preview it seemed they will start officially dating and I can't be happier 🥰 Sorry for not discussing about other couple storylines because they actually don't interest me enough. But one thing I noticed is Chun Soo's phone conversation with ex wife which may imply that his daughter might move back to live with him after college or something.
Quite intuitive- Chun Soo is such a great guy which is why it's so sad that his wife treated him like that. I…
Chun Soo absolutely didn't deserve the mistreatment from ex-wife. It also seems that his daughter is not so close to him as well, having separated since childhood. That's why I'm all for his true love and happiness in the future. For his relationship with Chairman, the preview said something like they were from same military unit; and pretty sure Chairman will reach out to him first in attempt to get closer to Gwangsook's family members. And I think they will eventually create a good friendship or brotherhood, thinking Chairman should be several years older. I agree with your last sentence too, but I also hope they resolve and get together soon because 30 episodes are done and I want to watch a lot of their dating (and if possible married) era moments please lol
I personally think that Chun Soo is the best bro-in-law for Gwang Sook. I initially saw him as a kinda irresponsible person who only minded his own business, but turned out he was having his own struggles: fired from job, separated with family, etc; and he didn't want to let his problems know to his family not to burden them. After going through his own troubles, he welcomed Gwang Sook's offer to co-manage the brewery without any protest. When the brothers were reading the late eldest brother's letter, Chun Soo was the one stopping them as he sensed it was making her sad. He seems to be the most mature and emotionally stable out of the brothers, and I tell you, it doesn't have to do with age. And I think he somehow senses that there is something going on between Gwang Sook and Chairman, and will probably be the one encouraging of their relationship the most. Gwang Sook is fortunate to have such a bro-in-law, and I hope he has the happiest future ahead with Mi Sun.
In ep 31 preview, he realizes his misbehaviors and starts making up for it.
Agreed with everything you said. I would put the blame on the script that is making the plots between the couples forced and unnatural which has now started to fall on the main lead couple. I also wished Chairman pursued her again only out of pure love and regret for his mean behaviors without having any expectations or knowing that she somehow reciprocates his feelings.

He better lasted just one episode because Gwangsook got REAL upset. I actually didn't expect her to be this upset lol Well I think I can relate to Chairman a bit because I also would've been hurt and wished to avoid her for a while and would definitely not be in the mood to keep seeing her or sit down for tea.
I agree with Seri and Okbun but regarding Dongseok I feel like it’s because he feels that she could be interested…
Agreed, and also Dongseok has noticed that Gwangsook has "similar disease" the way he previously experienced so he believes she already has feelings for him but hasn't realized, and so he's trying to push it. But I do agree that he shouldn't push her so much as she definitely needs more time and space.
