Thank you so much for sharing. Really nice to know actors' thoughts an insights.
That is totally baseless accusation because like have you ever seen her complaining or showing any sign of dislike working with him. Also most complaints viewers, either Korean or international, generally have are mostly on the messy writing so I don't really pay much attention to those minority.

Yes! On AJW’s resemblance with HDS, when the caption “Tsundere style” came up during UJW’s recent FEB making vlog when she said AJW would say he didn’t want to do some things but he would still comply if asked, I instantly remembered the scene where GS called DS tsundere type in the drama. Oh the memories 😭

Yes I already did. It's really apparent that she's a bright and moodmaker person on set and the way she herself agrees with her personality similarity to Gwang Sook although she indirectly expressed that she also finds some parts of her character personality absurd the same way we feel lol Still I’m gonna cherish UJW’s Ma Gwang Sook, the kind of character I’ve rarely seen her perform like she said. Anyway I'm so gonna miss the FEB family (I think I already am 😢).
Fun fact: I just learnt that the actor for Dokgo Tak played FL’s husband in a 2019 fantasy comedy drama. The fact that FL actress ran into two of her “ex-husbands” in one drama, one as her brother in law and another as her enemy 🤣
What's next? What is your rating for this series? Will you rewatch?Who was your fav character?Who was you least…
What’s next - Hmm, with FEB I got stressed out a lot waiting for weekly ongoing so I’m just gonna go for completed series next (and binge watch as needed). Will start with Iron Family, recent one that I haven’t watched. My rating for this series - 6/10. Would have been an 8/10 or 9/10 if the series kept up with the flow from the first half. What a shame. Will I rewatch - mayyybe only some parts that I liked a lot or made me laugh. Fav character - Mrs. Gong, which is a surprise to myself even. Because I took her as a quite unlikable noisy character at first, before I gradually warmed up with how she consistently makes the atmosphere lively and fun, spits out spot on facts, and most of all how she loves and stands for her daughter from start to end; she made me tear up in the scene where the Zumba bro told off FL for dating ML and she just let all hell break loose for making her daughter cry. Least fav character - Hands down ML’s ex mother in law. Just a passerby contributing nothing to the story. An obvious filler arc.
Ahn Jae-wook of "The Five Eagle Brothers" also expressed regret: "I wish the second half had been…
Thanks Vibs, do you know where I can see the interview? When I really agree with the points from UJW & AJW on the story and character development, I’m not sure if I’d have been happy with an open ending for DS-GS lol
I’m a bit confused, did DS-GS have twin daughters or son & daughter, because the color concept they prepare for them is suggesting different genders and I didn’t notice the gender mention at all lol Now that it’s completed, I will for sure miss it a lot in the weekends. It’s my first long format family drama I’ve ever watched ongoing (I only watched completed ones before). Started the series for the light fun storyline and stayed to the end for the main leads. I would say I got quite fond of and emotionally attached to the characters, even the not-so-likable ones. Most of all, I really enjoyed engaging with y’all here, sharing our thoughts and even ranting together lol Will miss this thread a lot since I won’t be watching ongoing long format dramas for some time (because it stresses me out 😂). P.S. Can’t wait to see what awards this drama will receive at the year end awards, as I’m sure there will be some. I just wish the terrible writing and directing don’t get any lol
I've never seen a better case (since The Real has Come) for keeping weekenders to 36 episodes since this mess.…
Totally with you, especially regarding FL character, and some of ML's as well. It maddens me since I was sooo emotionally invested into the leads' story up to like episode 30s. Why does they make her become a nosy person who wants to involve in everyone's business except her male lead? MIL story arc also feels painfully unnecessary, why add that when they have other existing storylines to focus on such as Kangsoo-Bom development, custody battle for Hani which I feel the need to be addressed properly without just making the mom look like a mere kidnapper, Gyeol and his doctor colleague, or even Chunsoo's daughter in US whose existence the writers seem to have forgotten now. And the recent FL's pregnancy...ugh, I don't even want to talk about it. 🤦♀️ They chose a stellar cast and went ahead with the terrible writing & directing for the drama that started off so well. Btw I'm also with you in wondering if writers changed at some point. It feels as if the current writing is done by a writer who hates the characters and the cast in general lol
The way it was portrayed bothered me too. It made it look like he was forcing her into something instead of it…
I know right? When I’m a fan of the actress, I can’t defend her character at all 😅 Like few others said, she still doesn’t act like she’s genuinely in love with Chairman which I‘m sure is fully unintentional.

It's actually sad as well as irritates me because I used to love the couple’s chemistry so much. I still do but with a lot of "what the..." reactions now compared to before 😂

Can you please write an email to production team, help to give them an earful even if it's too late now 🥲 Your logical plot twist will never happen given how stupid the direction of the show they decided to take has been.

Bom never said she isn't interested in taking over the hotel? Gyeol for sure said so, that's why I kept thinking that the successor will be Bom. Or did I miss out somewhere?

I feel the same. She always looks uncertain, anxious and in doubt in anything that comes to him, the most recent being her reaction to him wanting a baby. The portrayal of their story has gone all wrong, probably starting from the time he set the ‘d-day’ for the dating. I wholeheartedly agree with you that a time skip would’ve been great.
Still I’m gonna cherish UJW’s Ma Gwang Sook, the kind of character I’ve rarely seen her perform like she said.
