Thanke Vibs, because you've always been speaking my mind. I honestly really wondered if writers changed halfway since overall direction of the story and character profiles seem to have shifted noticeably compared to the first half of the drama, and not in a good way. MGS was fierce and not this much nice-to-everyone charitable character at the beginning. And same goes to HDS, he wasn't pushy and one-dimensional this much to GS. But anyway, like you said, "conditioned myself to accept anything" lol so true, it's not like we have a choice anyway 😆
I also agree on Hani, poor baby has to be working hard since she appears in almost every episode especially in second half of the drama. It wouldn’t have been possible if they didn’t have such soft docile baby like her.

Kinda disappointed with the baby arc for GS-DS. I would much prefer if the remaining eps instead showed how GS adapts into new (DS’s) family dynamics (like the scene DS was deboning the fish for GS and his kids jokingly sulked) and how she balances between her work and her former eagle family. The mother-daughter moments between GS and Bom which I looked forward to before will also probably get robbed; like them shopping together, cooking together, and GS being mom role for Bom when she marries Kangsoo.
Like a few others said, GS never said she wanted to be a mother, instead she voiced out several times that she’s against the idea, and then boom, expecting twins 🥹 She kept saying how risky it is to give birth at her age; I cannot imagine her fear when she finds out it’s twins lol
Overall the vibe is like, an unexpected pregnancy happened, and GS, being the icon of Mother Teresa she is, will be embracing with joy. I think the writers (and director) have a lot of greed that they want everything to happen in the series. But still it’s fine for me because I’ve seen other dramas that are much more over the top lol
Other than that, I enjoyed the newlywed scenes in this week episodes (how I wish it stayed this way for remaining plots, sigh…). And I find Mi Sun and Ok Bun conflict realistic and reasonable; it usually happens between SILs, and they are humans and women after all. In the end, the conflict got them closer as neither of them had bad intentions.
Anyway, gotta enjoy the ride to the end. I followed the ongoing from ep 13 and can’t believe we’ll be saying goodbye next week 😢

This will make the story fun though 😂

They have a lot to consider besides the age. And why DS out of the two who already have two adult kids is the one wanting the baby lol

They (I mean the writers and production) should understand that it is completely fine for a married couple to have no kid, that they can live perfectly without one. Because their concept looks like a baby’s presence is a must.

Yes I mean if both of them really want a baby, why not. But now it looks like they will be arguing again on that, one wants it, and one not. And this time I’m siding with GS lol

I just don’t know why they are going the baby route for main leads? Keeping the couple’s age thing aside, having a biological child just highlights their relationship being stepmom and step children, plus how awkward it must be to have a step sibling who is young enough to be your own kid lol
It might be all rainbows and flowers in kdrama but in real life, I think it will look hella awkward and cause bloody conflicts, especially in those rich families.
Instead it could be better to have their remaining scenes being GS bonding better with Gyeol and Bom; going family trips, shopping together, etc, and then after several years, helping to babysit the kids of the two siblings after they got married.

I almost laughed when GS said to DS "am I looking like someone to be dragged along?" in the scene they (actually only DS wanted to) were picking furnitures and arguing. Like girl, you have ALWAYS been dragged along in your entire relationship, and it's because you weren't putting any efforts in and your partner was making it work by dragging you along. 😂

Guess DS gave in to GS's idea of a small wedding.

I’ll be frank with my opinion. It’s not so nice to see your comments constantly judging negatively about the FL actress personally instead of her character in the show.
Setting the criticism on her acting skills aside although I would like to argue as I’ve seen several of her other works since we always have different preferences and views, you’re not only calling the ML actor out of shape which is not entirely true for someone in his 50s, you’re continuously accusing the FL actress of disliking the actor to the extent of “being unable to act out the chemistry” plus yearning for a young hot actor instead which I find particularly rude. I have seen her having good chemistry just fine with her older male partner actors in her other works. Even in For Eagle Brothers, the actor in the role of her ex husband, Lee Pil Mo, is only like 2 years younger than ML actor and their chemistry was great in the early episodes before his death. Who knows what directions they were given and changes made during filming behind the scenes. Criticizing acting skills or questioning interactions is fine, but I would request you not to judge the actors personally which can taint their image when we don’t really know much about their personal lives and preferences. Words can kill people, physically and mentally.

Totally agree with you. My issue is the same as you said. It's really such a pity because the main couple started off very strong and they make a lovely couple.

I’m sure they’ll have a great chemistry since they are already acquainted with each other, but for sure there won’t be any kiss scene involved even if the genre is romance 😆

You exactly spoke my mind. I also think it highly depends on the category of the drama and its main audience nature, although I'm not sure about the actors' personal preferences since there may or may not be some. Some actors do have though, for example it is a widely known fact among Kim Hee Sun's fans that she stopped filming kiss and intimate scenes after marriage since her husband dislikes it.

Actually Beom Soo actor (Yoon Bak)'s marriage was in 2023, which is after his drama Birthcare Center with FL that was in 2021, although I don't know if he had romantic scenes in his other dramas after marriage or not.

I have to admit that 3rd brother and hairdresser are made for each other although they do come off as annoying.
And Mr. Go and Ms. Gong are consistently adorable!
